Newest Review: ... be made each week with any spare cash you have, you get money back for selling players and of course have to pay for the new players. Players then score points for goals, assists, tackles and passing accuracy. Nothing different there then. But where the site and game is clever is that the value of players change depending on the market. I.e if everybody is buying Michael Owen then his value will go up, similarly if Owen does not score and looks like a muppet and managers start to sell him his value goes down. This is where the game is addictive as you may buy a player for a small sum and then be able to sell latter at a much higher price. ... more

Smallworld.com is a web site which allows you to play interactive sports management games, with your scores based on real life results in those sports. The sports are mainly American and of little interest to us in the UK, who know that Football involves a round ball and you kick it, rather than throw it with your hands. But that is the Yanks for you, Football, Ahh yes you pick the ball up and throw it. Enough of the sidetracking. This is without doubt the best free fantasy sports site that I have found on the web. It offers fantasy leagues in many sports including Premier League football, Brazilian football, Major League Baseball, Golf, American Football, Basketball and even Politics!!! The detail is brilliant as players prices change throughout the season as your fellow managers buy or sell particular players. For all of the sports available the way that players score points is very intricate and yet realistic to their performances in the field. For the football league players score points using the Carling Opta index which form the official statistics of both Sky Sports and the Premier ... Read the complete review

I have found what I think to be the best fantasy football competition around. The competition is run by smallworld.com and gives you the most realistic opportunity of being a manager. The main advantage to this league is that you get to benefit from the increase (or decrase) in players value. For example if you buy a player at £1m and he goes up to £5m you can sell him for that price and then use your earnings to buy a new player. The players value is determined by his popularity, for example if a player performs really well one week his demand by managers will go up, therefore so will his price, if he performs badly, he will be sold ...
