Advantages: None

Disadvantages: The site contains inaccurate and misleading information which might encourage young people to dabble in potentially dangerous activities.

I read Sarah Louise's opinion on this website and as she seemed so impressed with it I thought I would take a look. I was very annoyed and disappointed with the site. It is very inaccurate and the author obviously doesn't have a clue what he is talking about.

The site is typical of its kind in appearance. It has the obligatory black background and red font with eerie picture of a demon to greet you. Surely it could do even better and add some green slime dripping down the screen. Music, I think it is 'Tubular Bells' from the Exorcist most of the time, plays annoyingly in the background.

There are plenty of warnings on the site that the contents are not suitable for children and further warnings not to dabble. But it is quite clear that it was written with young people primarily in mind and the frequent warnings are not aimed to deter but encourage. In fact some of the spells are specifically addressed to children "great for using on your parents or teachers" is hardly intended for adults is it?

~~~ Main Contents ~~~
The content page contains a list of links to the pages on the topics covered with a brief description of each. The first three subjects are Dream Recall, Astral Projection and Time travel. Puzuzu explains how to do all of these in the space of one paragraph. So perhaps by this one can understand just how wonderfully comprehensive this site is.
Other topics covered, again usually in one paragraph, are Hypnotism, Witchcraft vs High Magic, Pentagrams, Conjuring Spirits, Fire Magic, Black Magic, Candle Spells, Blood Sacrifice, Omens and Beliefs, Ouija board, Books and links. Much of the information given is so basic as to be useless and far worse much of it is very misleading. I will cover a few of the topics to give examples.
~~~ Witchcraft vs High Magic ~~~

This section contains some very misleading and inaccurate information. In order to demonstrate just
how inaccurate I need to quote extensively from the site. In this short section Puzuzu manages to confuse Witchcraft, Wicca, High Magic and Voodoo and the term pagan.

Puzuzu says: First let me explain that Witchcraft is called "Low Magic" and Ceremonial or High Magic is exactly what it says.... "High Magic".

Zebra argues: This is not true. High Magic is a spiritual or religious discipline related to mysticism frequently involving ceremonial magic. It is practised by traditions following various mystery schools, such as Golden Dawn derivatives, Rosicrucians etc and others people working independently. Some witches may practice high magic and I believe Wicca (a religion in its own right) has an element of it. High magic is also called Theurgy, a Greek term which can be translated as 'God work'.

It is often contrasted with 'low magic' or thaumaturgy which is the use of magic for non religious purpose. Sometimes it is also called natural or sympathetic magic.
Puzuzu says: Now if you just go by the name.... then you would guess that High Magic is More Powerful. Well guess what?...... this is true. Many Pagans will differ but the magic of witchcraft is no match for that of High Magic.

Zebra comments: Powerful doesn't enter into it - they have different purposes.

Puzuzu says: If you are a Pagan and do not believe in the Christian / Jewish God then Withcraft is perfect for you.
Witchcraft is mainly simple spells and rituals including Voodoo (Voodoo is not always that simple)... where as High Magic is much more complicated and not for the uneducated person and deals with very complex rituals that take years of study and practice to have success. Plus there are many types of High Magic all very similar but different and all extremely powerful if done correctly.

Zebra points out: Voodoo, or more correctly Vodoun, is a religion which is most frequently associated wi
th Haiti but it is also practised in Benin, Dominican Republic and various places in the US where Haitian refuges have settled.

There are many different types of 'witchcraft' too including, believe it or not as you will, Christian and Jewish witches.

Puzuzu says: In High Magic you are also dealing with the Christian / Jewish God and his hierarchy. Hummm.... some of you don't believe in God?..... well then this is not for you. You don't have to believe in the Bible to believe in this Hierarchy..... the Bible was written by man and not God and it has been changed so many times that it is nowhere near the original version that was in Greek and Hebrew.

Zebra replies: High Magic often involves the Judeo Christian God and angels but this is not always the case.

The Bible has actually been transmitted very well and very little has altered from the 'originals' in the last two thousand years. I have written an opinion on the Bible which gives more information if you are interested.

~~~ Occult Books ~~~
Here again I tend to disagree with Sarah Louise who says there is a vast array of occult books but perhaps there were more when she looked. Here Puzuzu lists all the books that he says has read on the subject, although I truly doubt he has understood what he has read, and this amounts to a grand total of 21 books.
Included in the titles are a few occult classics but the rest are about as useful as this site.
The first book on the list he describes as "simply the best book you can buy to learn from. It will take you from a beginner to the advanced Magician." Interesting sales talk but no book will ever do that.
The books listed can of course be purchased, no doubt earning Puzuzu some handy commission, by clicking on the picture of the book . It is interesting to note that the books cover the subjects of his topic areas and some of the more controversial ones
such as the Satanic Bible which has been reviewed on dooyoo by the way - not by me.
~~~ Psychic Realm Readings ~~~

This is basically promoting another site, Psychic Realm, which charges both for membership and readings. I haven't checked it out but suspect Puzuzu might own it as at the bottom of the main page he says: Join my Psychic Realm... you will enjoy it.

~~~ Pentagrams ~~~
Puzuzu's information on pentagrams is very limited. He glosses over the main significance, the elements, in order to say worn upside down it is evil.
The pentagram has been a sacred symbol both in Western and Eastern religions and philosophies since ancient times. The main purpose of the pentagram is to symbolize the four elements of fire, water, air and earth crowned by a fifth element spirit. The pentagram symbolizes the 'substances' which make all there is and their connectedness. In simple terms its significance is spirit or mind ruling over the world of matter so reversed it implies concerned with the world of matter more than spirit.
Puzuzu then gives instruction on how to do the LBRP Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. This is a Golden Dawn Ritual which is reproduced in many places on the internet. The ritual appears to be based on Jewish prayers and meditations particularly the bedtime Sh'ma.
The ritual calls upon the Judeo Christian God and the Archangels (in Hebrew) and so is hardly the most useful ritual to recommend to everyone on the basis that not everyone follows that tradition. Moreover merely doing a ritual without any understanding of precisely why or what you are doing is 'dabbling'.
~~~ Ouija ~~~

Puzuzu recommends using a Ouija board - which makes me doubt his sanity.

There are plenty of opinions on the Ouija board on Dooyoo and the majority are very much against it, as indeed am I. Yes I did have a go when I was a teenager and we all scared ourselv
es s***less. Of all the stupid things on this site I think this recommendation is the worst because it is a bit too easy to dabble in this area.

~~~ Conjuring spirits ~~~
~~~ Black Magic ~~~
~~~ Blood Sacrifice ~~~
This sort of site really annoys me because it plays on the gullibility of naïve visitors who have seen some TV programme or horror film and want to have a go themselves for some reason or another. They stress all the most controversial and offensive aspects they can find and make ridiculous claims at the same time.
Sites such as these perpetuate the idea that interest in the occult necessarily involves black magic, conjuring demons, animal/blood sacrifice and other horror film inspired horrors are not only misleading they are seriously dangerous. Puzuzu maintains "Even today human sacrifice goes on, but only in the most secretive places. There are some Devil worshipers (not Satanists) that practice the art."
I suggest that if there really is 'satanic abuse' and human sacrifice it is more likely as a result of this type of site than from anything else.
Serious occult groups have been around for a long time. Serious and sane people, including many in mainstream churches and religions, study and practice high magic, hermeticism and related subjects with strictly honourable intentions.
In conclusion, I really object to this site and others like it. Some people might find it amusing but I don't think it is worthwhile even listing it on Dooyoo. It already has four opinions and all say how good it is - which in my opinion is quite worrying.
A most intelligable review!
I am in agreement, It would seem that the spells contained within the site have not been proof read to any great degree. This is evident from the repition and poor grammer, It is also a give away on the age of the readership.
I understand it is was meant to be a basic overship for the purposes of introduction , howver some items Have been omitted that I feel should not have been.
If there is a genuine concern others may misuse information why publish it in the first place?
In regards to the book, I own a copy of it myself. Donald Michael Craig the author of the book makes no claims to take the reader to advanced level himself(the website does that), but rather states what the book is, to provide a introduction to several topics that can allow the reader to be to go and read advanced texts with some prior knowledge. This I belive he does very well in and easy to read format suited to the redership that I expect he attracts.
So Zebra recieves a thumbs up from me and maybe you will review my site, all constructive critism gratefully accepted!
I'm concerned with your people's comments on the article. If you would have actually visited the site and checked it out, you would have found out that there is a lot more to it.
If you would have read the "About Puzuzu" page, you would realize that it is not a page about Wicca, but actually a page about magics without religious aspect. To preform witchcraft, you do not need to be a Wiccan or believe in a God/Goddess at all.
Also, you may notice that the articles are short. Well... the articles also cut straight to the point. Rather than including all of the scientific mumbo jumbo, long storys about the topic, and evidence that the information works, Puzuzu automatically assumes that you have a basic understanding and foundation in the area that you're reading about.
To another point, each topic in itself has so much information that it is IMPOSSIBLE to include it all on one website. For example, instead of writing every single detail about candle magics on his site, he chose to show a few basic spells and ceremonies and tell the basic meaning of some of the candles.
Also, the book on 11 lessons in high magick - it really is rumored to be the BEST book ever written on high and ceremonial magics, just look at the reviews on barnesandnoble.com and amazon.com.
I 9;m not trying to bash the writer of this article, but trying to show another side of the site. I highly suggest that you actually visit your site and form your own oppinions on what you believe and don't believe.
Like Puzuzu said, " I am not looking for people to follow me, only to enlighten them."
Resp ectfully,
