I bought an office chair from them at the beginning of December and it came damaged and very uncomfortable. I contacted CS and arranged a "quibble free" return which I found I had paid extra for(never saw a choice at the checkout). The pick up came around the 11th from TNT and by the 12th it had been signed for back at ...  Read the complete review

Bought in store previously but went online this time for paper (used for last 3 years, no problem with quality of that). Ordered Tues evening for Thur delivery. Confirmation email and links to track with courier. 'Welcome pack' (catalogue and standard letter) added to order. Welcome pack was all that arrived. Tracking page advised to ...  Read the complete review

staples.co.uk: Never experienced such awful customer service (162 words)

Ordered a printer online using a voucher, that was just about to expire. Turns out that so did hundreds of other people. Unfortunately, it seems that the website has a fault and that orders are not received or dispatched in the order in which they were placed. This meant that friends of mine who placed orders up to 10 hours after mine ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on staples.co.uk

The problems started as soon as we went in! The prices were ridiculous! They were far, far too expensive. The staff weren't helpful at all. When my friend payed for her 3 items, it came up to £20! They were only some marker pens, a diary and ball point pens. And after spending so much, she wasn't offered a bag at all. Absolutely never again.

Recently bought several pieces of office furniture. We had no idea that he stuff was coming from different suppliers - Staples don't actually stock any of it. First delivery had 3 items. Second delivery had 4 items but the driver thought it should be 5. Seems somewhere the 5th item has gone astray. No one seems to know where it is, or how long until we get a replacement. After the first part of the order came we said if the sceond part took more than a week we would cancel. We suspect they just shipped what they had and the last item isn't available at the moment. Just wish we'd never been near the place, certainly won't ever again.

Having looked around for a new desk in the store I found it online for half price, as the store couldn't match it I bought online, the order turned up quickly but the courier had damaged it. Phoned staples and got it swapped the next day, no fuss, I also managed to get an extra discount as the price had gone down further. Only had to call twice and got through instantly both times. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from again.

staples.co.uk: Very Poor Customer Service (161 words)

Ordering things through Staples for next day delivery was easy enough. The problems started when the goods did not turn up the following day, infact they did not turn up for eight days, even though every day I was told they would be with me the following day. That was all the fault of the courier - Parcelforce - However, when I tried ...  Read the complete review

Appalling customer service. I recently placed an order on their website for a few items and as usual paid by credit card which is the only way of completing the transaction. They delivered the items but then started to send me invoices for the amount of the order, culminating in a very heavy letter threatening my credit status. All this, despite me doing MY best to resolve the matter with them via a whole string of emails. The attitude of their staff throughout was rude, condescending, unhelpful and at times downright aggressive.Stay well clear of their website. Absolutely the worst service anywhere if anything should go wrong.

Staples.co.uk is a very easy to navigate web site and is very well laid out and items are very easy to find. The first shopping page makes it very easy for you to find exactly what you are looking for with easy to use coloured boxes. Geoffrey, my live in companion who also happens to be a mohican giraffe is going through an artistic phase at the moment. Well, he likes to draw on things, mainly Bradley the permanently sad looking basset hound's face, but Geoffrey thinks that this is artistic. I had often heard people talk about Staples but it wasn't until last week that I actually went and had a look round. If you have not been to Staples recently it is well worth putting it on your list of places to visit soon. I purchased my Epson Stylus 460 printer from my local Staples store just a few weeks after I had got my computer. The date was around March/April 2000 (the vagueness of the date is relevant!!). I happily “printed around” on it for the next 10 and a half months, trouble free, but then disaster struck!!! Oh before I go ...  Read the complete review
