This is possibly the most useful site on the internet. Streetmap.co.uk is basically a road map.

You can find anywhere you wish by either entering, a post code (you don’t even need all of it you can just type in the first half), a telephone code, a street name, or even a London street name (If you are looking for somewhere in London).

Once you have decided how you are going to search, you have entered it, a lovely colour map will appear, you can then make bigger or smaller depending on what you are looking for. If the map does quite in the right place you then have arrows you can use to allow you to find the correct bit.

We used this site loads when we were buying a house, you can find out very quickly if it is in the area you like or not.

My husband also uses it when directing people to where he works, it have never seemed to fail yet, and as it is on line it is always updated, much more accurate than one printed a few years ago.
