I just submitted my site through this company and I have yet to see the results but they submit the site through all the normal search engines like any other submission site would. In the past I know that some of these search engines are pretty naff and don't do anything with your entry or people just don't use these search engines at all. Still its good that they are free and that there are some popular sites in there like Lycos, Yahoo, Altavista.
