Submitit.co.uk is a search engine submission tool, based on the web. Provide it with a whole load of commonly requested information about your site, and it will then help speed you through the process of submitting your websites details to all of the major search engines.

Once it's collected these details, it takes you to a screen containing a list of the big search engines. Clicking on these then brings up the information which that search engine requires for a new submission. If you've already given submitit the relevant info, it's prepopulated into the fields, otherwise you have to add it.

There are two major benefits to this website. Firstly, because it's taken the most commonly requested information, it saves a hell of a lot of time in trying to type the same information over and over again.

Secondly, as it has a list of the major search engines, you don't have to spend hours trawling round them all, locating the submission section and going through lots of hoops.
