Advantages: Sharp satire and brings insights into more ‘obscure’ news events. Good cartoons as well.

Disadvantages: Long, long pages that can take a while to load and it is ‘American-centric&# 39;.

It proudly proclaims to ‘attack the undefendable’ (it’s maxim is after all: ‘a fish, a barrel, and a smoking gun’). but it never really mocks it’s intended victims.

One of the many off-shoots of ‘Wired’ magazine this covers news events and cultural topics rather than technology (though it has a hilarious ‘top trumps’ of internet moguls who’ve made it big).

Being one of the few humour websites that actually updates DAILY while still maintaining it’s ability to amuse is incredibly hard (even ‘The Onion’ and ‘Modern Humourist’ update every two weeks).

Helpfully there is an archive section that means you can search for topics that is seemingly more relveant to you or for an article you’ve missed (on the side of an article is all the week’s previous articles).

And despite the fact it only has one article a day, it is detailed, funny and precise. Although you may find the fact that the two writers behind ‘Suck’ hide behind psuedonyms may be a trifle distracting.

Long may it continue!
