I have used super break.com on two occasions, the first was a booking to the Tutankhamen exhibition in London, and was very reasonably priced the hotel we stayed at was the ibis at earls court and it was excellent, every thing was included in the price, the tickets for the exhibition in the millennium dome, and the hotel which provided an excellent breakfast which was also included in the price. I feel this company has gone downhill recently. I have used them a few times in the past and have been decent up until now. Although they have a large range of hotels their prices are very expensive compared to others. For example I was looking for a weekend break in the Lake District and for The Leeming House Hotel I was quoted the ridiculous price of £440 for 2 nights bed and breakfast for two people. On another site I was quoted £220 for 2nights dinner, bed and breakfast for 2 people. That's half the price Superbreak were quoting and it includes dinner!!!! Their site is also painfully slow. We got a voucher for Christmas, but after searching literally dozens of hotels for a weekend away, we have yet to find a hotel that isn't at least 50 quid cheaper booking direct. The 100 pounds voucher (which cost 100 pounds) has suddenly become worth about 50 pounds as we have to pay a premium of 50 pounds to book through Superbreak. Use them for research if you must, but ALWAYS check prices to book direct. OH - and parts of their internet site just don't work. WHO ARE SUPERBREAK? WWW.SUPERBREAK.COM is a widely known company used by independent travellers and travel agents to book short breaks. They specialise in 2 to 5* hotels and carry over 500,000 travellers a year.
