Surf the Channel is a website that offers you the chance to watch various television programmes and films for free.

Rather than hosting the videos on the Surf the Channel website, they provide links to various other websites around the world. The videos are streamed, and all you have to do is wait for the video to buffer, and then watch to your heart's content.

I use the website to watch most of my favourite US television shows, such as Grey's Anatomy, House and Brothers & Sisters. It allows me to keep up to date with the shows easily. Films are also available on the website, but obviously they are longer videos than the television shows and will take much longer to buffer.

There are some drawbacks - not all of the links work all of the time, some bad links are not always removed. But ultimately, it's a very good website, and one of my most visited!
