Advantages: Easy to use, Well laid out, Excellent reliability
Disadvantages: Sometimes slow, I often lose!
Firstly, I apologise for the 'Nick Berry' inspired title. I've been a member with Surrey Sports for quite a while now, and have tested it to destruction. It has proven itself to be a great way to get into online gambling, and I've still got a few quid in the bank, so I'm doing something right! When you take out an account with Surrey, you have to deposit £10, which seems to be the standard sum for most of these sorts of sites. Usually they have a promotion where they will add money to your initial deposit. When I joined it was £10, but it's currently a fiver. Once that's done, you're away. You're given an account number and password, and you can adjust the password to suit. Now, the spending and winning bit. You can bet on most sporting events, including more obscure things like the Darts, or the Superbowl (no offence meant, but they ain't football!). The odds are quite generous, and I've compared them with other online bookies favourably on a couple of occasions now. The horse betting can be done just before the race, when the odds are shown, or before, when you would need to know what's what as the odds are not shown. Some races have 'early prices' so you can get to the odds a few hours before. Football betting is simple. You can bet on a number of categories which I'll try to list: - Straight bet (who's gonna win) - Score prediction - First scorer - First scorer with score prediction - Last scorer - To score anytime (player) - H/T - F/T score - Number of corners (sometimes) - Time of first goal Though I'm sure there are more, these are the main ones. You can bet pretty much any amount, but accumulators must be 10p per stake line. I usually stick a favourites accumulator on for the premiership and some Scottish games. That's when you choose a bunch of games and if you get the winners right in each, you can win a lot of dosh.
r>To withdraw is easy - I won £65 the other week by predicting the first scorer and score of West Ham vs. Macclesfield correctly and had the money in my bank account within half an hour of full-time. If you've got less than a tenner in there you have to take it all out, but hey, you're all going to win loads! I find it a really easy site to use - I'm not a big betting man or anything but it's fun and a little addictive and adds a new meaning to reading the football results on a Saturday. Sometimes when you've bet on some obscure Italian game it can be fun trying to find the result if you're not near a computer! I'd recommend it to new users of this sort of service as easy to start up and use, and it seems to be secure and reliable - I've never had a single problem. I can't say what they are like with fixing problems though - even my friends who have joined have had no troubles. To summise, please visit their site, you can view the odds and categories without joining and it's all laid out simply and efficiently. The only downside I've found is that it can be a little slow, and I put that down to security. Good luck, and always bet on Celtic (despite the rubbish odds)
