Advantages: Easy and quick survey

Disadvantages: Repetitive and not great for earnings!

As part of my efforts to earn a quick buck or two (!), about a year ago, I joined GFK. In theory, all I have to do is watch the TV and listen to the radio to be entered into a 'cash' prize draw - although the channel/station list that are questions are linked to is limited - for TV this is the terrestrial channels plus the basic satellite channels really.
I answer the basic survey for TV viewing around 15 days in every month (10 required for one entry into the prize draw, plus 1 more entry for every extra day), and around 10 days for radio listening (5 required plus one more entry for every additional day). If you are not going to answer the survey for at least 10 days in a month, it loses its 'value' as whilst you are entered into a monthly prize draw, you miss out on the quarterly draw option.
I have, to date, received a total of £15 of Amazon vouchers. These were awarded as part of the media usage survey, which is a special 7 day survey - if you answer every day for a week on your TV, Radio and Internet usage, you receive the reward. If you miss a day, you are given a chance to answer 'yesterday's' survey - which is useful!

Generally the questions are very basic - you pick the programme you watched or listened to, rate it and move on. Questions can be repetitive and sometimes seem inappropriate - 'did you find this programme inspiring?' springs to mind. You are generally given an option to make your own comments as well though, both positive and negative.

Although not great for money making, I have found it a good outlet for ranting about programmes!!!

Summary: Useful for monitoring your own viewing!!!
