Swagbucks, a search engine, with an added twist, you gain points, or "swagbucks" for searching. These bucks can then be converted into prizes, such as gift cards, games and a whole host of other things.

The site is based in the US, so it is mainly aimed at those in north America, but this site is open for people from the UK as well. The general look of the site is great, and it's very easy to navigate around. The search engine itself is a compilation of all of the main and well known ones, such as google and ask, and to be expected, its as fast as them too. I wouldn't recommend the image or video search though, it does need some work. The web search is fine though.

Bucks are allocated on a random basis, usally once or twice per session, and it doesn't matter how many searches you do, in fact if you do too many, you get referred to the rules of the site. Bucks can vary time to time from 1 to 5, and on special days, up to 100. You can also gain bucks by shopping with their partner sites and recycle old mobile phones, which I haven't tried yet.

There are a wide range of prizes on offer, but to be honest, I would just get amazon gift cards, because there is a lot more choice on there. If you want to use the swagbucks site alone, there are a wide range of prizes, and 350 bucks could get you a good ps3 game. Music, comics, books, gift cards, naruto stuff, and basically anything that is imaginable.

Overall, I great "get stuff for free" site, that does actually work. I am very pleased with www.swagbucks.com , and would recommend to anyone. Get amazon cards though!
