What is swapit shop?
Swapit shops is an online shop or trading site for kids. Rather than use "actual money" children use a currency called "swapits". Swapits can be earned in various ways, including buying them, selling some of your old or unwanted things for them, or by entering codes and visiting advertisers websites. There are also "codes" in certain kids magazine, such as the match of the day magazine.

So how does it work?
You can use your swapits in a similar way to ebay, with bidding, and a buy it now price from other users of swapit shop. As well as this you can get "star buys" which are put on by swapit shop themselves. These tend to cost more. You can also sell things, but to do this, you must put whatever it is you are sending in a package, send it to "swapit central" They then check that what you are sending is correct, then send it to the person, but you must provide both stamps and what not, so it costs more than just a simple send.

Problems with this site are that it takes a long time to get a large amount of swapit points, the average you get a day is around 10, and something decent like a ps3 costs something ridiculous like 500000000 to quote one. But by far the biggest problem with this site is to do with a lot of the people not sending the items that they offer. Now although they get sent to swapit central first, and if swapit don't recieve it, then you don't pay anything, it gets very annoying when you spend a long time and don't get anything sent through as someone hasn't sent it.
Overall then? Its great for your kids to be able to get their toys and gadgets and what not for free, but i wouldn't sell anything through here, better of with ebay.

Summary: Great for younger people, not so much older people, though that is what it is aimed at
