Men wear t-shirts. It's one of those reassuring facts of life.

It took me quite a lot of google-ing before I stumbled upon t-shirt-world.co.uk, which is a bit strange since there's "t-shirt" in the title (maybe I'm doing it wrong...?) After many an internet dead-end, at last I'd found a website that has 26 (26!!) categories of designs, decent, crisp photos and accepts Paypal. Hurray!

I was actually looking for something simple with a celtic print on it, but was completely taken by one of the designs under the fantasy section. The photos don't look like much until you click on the individual product and then on the photo for an enlargement, and that's when the clarity and beauty of the image really hits you. There are literally hundreds of designs, many of which are really intricate illustrations of fantasy realms and renditions of wildlife photography.

Most of the standard t-shirts are £17.99, although you have to add £1 - £2 extra if you are asking for the largest sizes; long sleeved t-shirts tend to be £19.99 and the ladies' tank tops around £16. Postage is £2.99, and the website warns that many of the designs are shipped in from the USA, so there can be a delay of up to 28 days if they have to re-stock. Otherwise, delivery should take up to 14 days. Basically, order well in advance!

My hubby's t-shirt arrived in less than a week, thankfully - in time for his b'day. The fabric is clearly of a good quality - not "skimpy" cotton - and I was impressed to see that the design came out as clear and as intricate as it appeared on the photo. I also really like the fact that the design forms part of the fabric of the t-shirt: it is properly "dyed in", as opposed to being a superimposed print added after production.

These are really beautiful t-shirts and I have found myself wondering about who else I could get one for.
