Ah. TeamTalk. One of the most infamous football "information" services hit the web. Is it really any different from the 50p per minute advertisements you see on TeleText's football pages? Well, yes and no really. Actually, to be honest (- do you get it?), little has actually changed. Of course the Internet medium has allowed TeamTalk to enhance their presence in the way of photos and what-not, but at the end of the day you can't trust TeamTalk as far as you can throw 'em. If you wan't to hear how Mars are sending a team to play an Earth World XI, how Paul Gascoigne is going to be Kevin Keegan's assistant and how Steve McManaman is returning to England with Scarborough then TeamTalk is most certainl;y for you. I'm sorry if these examples are far too realistic prospects for the likes of TeamTalk, but I'm just simply trying to make a point? Whatever next - they'll be saying that George Weah is moving to Man City. What? He does? Are you trying to be funny? The only way that this site could be any use to you at all is if you find a story linking your mate's team's star winger with a move away. You could earn a few wind-up points - that is if he actually believed TeamTalk, which I very much doubt. However, if you've ever telephoned a TeamTalk line (look - some people must) then you can get your "information" on the Internet without the need for those draining 50p per minute phone calls. Anyway I must go now - apparently Gareth Barry's on his way to Arsenal. Now where did I get that from?
