i don't think that teenchat is that good, in my opinion it is quite dangerous to talk over the internet and i disagree that such websites are aiming chat rooms at teenagers. heven knows what might be going on in there or what people will be drawn to such 'teenage' websites. i much prefer programs like msn messenger or icq. there you can talk to your friends nowing that it is your friend. why people feel that they have to use the interent to meet people is quite an interesting debate in itself. ...  Read the complete review

This is one thing that makes it so much better than a lot of other chat services, you don't have to register, you just pick a name and start chatting. If you're over 13 www.teenchat.com has hundreds of brilliant chat rooms for you to use free of charge. But if you're under 13 or over 21 you'll find it very unsuitable for the following reasons: *The topics in the rooms are usually unsuitable for young people. *There is always bad language in chatrooms. *Most other people in the rooms are not within your age range. *You have to type very fast to catch up with the conversations. teenchat.co.uk is the best site for UK teenagers to come and chat. Its got a lot of different rooms and there are normally quite a few people on chatting at times. The website only has the chat client, there is nothing else on the page. The client always loads up fast and there are a lot of features in it, such as the private messageing which allows you to chat to someone else using the service WITHOUT anyone else beening able to read it. There do seen to be a few problems with it though. Sometimes when I'm using it not all the members in the room can be seen, which makes it hard to talk in private to someone.
