I used the 40 free prints offer (who doesn't) and opted to pick them up in my local store, rather than have them posted. From what I could gather, this means that when you upload your pictures to the website and confirm the order, the whole thing is sent to your local store to be printed there, if it is able to do this. If you have them posted I'm not sure what happens. Anyway, the site was very easy to use and quick to upload, although I think the photos are compressed to aid speed. I recently signed up with Tesco photo through a special offer which gave me 40 free 6inch x 4inch prints and a free 12inch by 18inch poster - all I had to pay for was £1.50 post and packaging. I have to say, I was very impressed with the tesco photo site and the service itself. The website gives you two options for uploading photos, a short form option for uploading up to 10 photos at a time or a "quick upload tool" for more than 10. I should point out that the quick upload only works on internet explorer and not firefox, but it's not really an issue. It's then just a matter of browsing your photos, selecting the ones you want to upload ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review tescophoto.com: It's official Tesco's now does everything (214 words)

Tesco photo I first used tesco photo last year, after a holiday abroad where I had a lot of photo's that I wanted to print. I intiall used because of the cheap price and knew that my photo's would be safe with a big company such as tesco. I printed over 200 photo's so the price for each one worked out at just 5p for a 6x4 regular photo (plus a standard £1.50 for delivery). Tesco are pretty competitve for prices, and the more photo's you buy the cheaper that they become. Buy between 1 and 49, they cost 15pence each, 50 - 99 they are 13p each, 100-149 they are 10p and any number over 150 prints costs just 5p each. The actual quality was ...  Read the complete review

Why I'd never use Tesco Photo again (403 words)

I'm a photographer putting on my first exhibition, and decided to use Tesco Photo for my prints, as I've used them before, and was happy with their quality. The exhibition was to be on the 28th of October, and so about a month before the exhibition I placed my first order for prints, and waited for delivery. A week later I was told one of the files uploaded was corrupted, and so they cancelled the entire order. Fortunately I'd given myself a month to get the prints done for exactly this eventuality. I re-uploaded the corrupt image, and placed another order. On the next order, a different image was corrupt, even though I'd already submitted exactly ...  Read the complete review

Having just returned from a fantastic family holiday to Florida, I had loads of photos to develop. Reviewed loads of different sites for cost and what people thought of them etc and picked after all of this to go to Tesco. Uploading of the pictures was really simple, they have a download you can use to speed the system up. I chose to use this as I wished to upload approx 200 pictures. My computer is not the most up to date or fastest so all of this took about 2 hours. However I was able to walk away and leave it running. After it confirmed all pictures were uploaded I found it really simple to select which pictures I wanted and in what size. ...  Read the complete review
