I am a big fan of the body shop website I always find it so easy to use and love the way everything is filtered so you can go straight to what you need. There is nothing better than not having to trail through pages and pages of products you might not want to view. The website is always updated with products and I am a lover of body shop products. However I do consider body shop products to be quite pricy but I always want to try products I haven't before to see what I think of them. The signing up process is quick and easy. I like that you can register for a newsletter it always keeps me updated on special offers and sales they are holding and everyone loves a bargain myself especially. As much as I love the website I still prefer to go into the shop so I can actually smell the product I want to buy and its easier when you live close to one!
Ever since I began making my own wages and got my own bank card, I became hooked with online shopping. For the past few years my favourite high street stores began advertising their products online and became so far advanced that I can now download apps from my favourite stores and actually shop whilst I'm on my break at work.. Amazing!
Now, weirdly enough, I've never been a fan of The Body Shop. Don't get me wrong, their products are beautiful and if it were safe (and not weird) I could literally eat their body butters with a spoon but it's always been way too out of my price range to even consider them as more than an occasional treat on bonus pay day. That was until I came across The Body Shop Online! As basically my whole entire life is run from my iPhone 5 I downloaded the convenient body shop app where I can easily make transactions and utilise their often very generous promotional codes. So as my experience is based mainly around the app, I'll be reviewing the body shop app for smartphones!
So when you open the app, it's incredibly basic and easy to use. At the bottom of the screen you've got your main options which are:
Shop- where you can locate all the different categories of products available
Stores- where you can find your own store or stores closest to your current location
My profile- your own profile where you can check out your history, manage a wish list, join the social hun, check out latest products, customer service information and even write reviews.
Bag- your shopping bag
In the home page there are often promotions advertised such as offers, new products and money off promotional codes which I find are really generous. Also there is a fun survey activity called 'build your beauty routine' where you can answer simple questions to determine a beauty routine from products of the body shop range. There are often informational blogs within the app regarding charities that the body shop supports, and directing you towards the products that a percentage of the profits are donated to a charity.
So my experience with the online service has been positive so far! I tend to look out for the good deals and the deals I've had so far are free postage over £5, (they usually offer free postage over a certain amount) and the postage is incredibly prompt! I recently had a very, very good deal which was 'buy 2 get 2 free' on all products and I managed to snatch up mango body butter, body scrub, lip butter and a moisturising face mask all for £25 including delivery which should've cost nearly £50! I ordered all this on the Monday morning and received it on Wednesday with my usual post which I was really pleased with.
I would recommend the body shop app to anyone who enjoys an easy, convenient shopping experience with a range of good products. I tend to only shop with the body shop when there are good deals going on and it seems that they are very regular! The app makes it easy to check these often and the promotions are simply a code that you enter at the check out. The products I have received are very luxurious and I feel very smug getting lots of amazing smelling goodies for a very cheap price with promotions. I'll continue to use the body shop app, although the products are very expensive the sting is taken out when you're adding their generous promotional codes!
I have used The Body Shop website to purchase gifts for others and myself quite a few times now, they are all such lovely products to treat yourself or someone else!
The layout of the website is attractive and easy to use, the basket system is very reliable and entering a discount code is simple, I really like their system which shows every item at the price your discount code makes them, for example if you enter a 40% discount code and continue shopping the prices shown for items will already have taken the 40% off which makes keeping track of the price very simple, I have never seen this on any other shopping website.
The full priced items are a bit too pricey for my budget but luckily The Body Shop release great discount codes very often (as I write this there is a 40% off discount code which also applies to sale items and gives free delivery on orders over £5). Their sales always reduce items by a very fair amount and most of the time the gift sets work out at very good value, a lot cheaper than buying the items separately.
There are two delivery options available, these are standard delivery and express delivery but to be honest I wouldn't recommend purchasing express delivery unless you're in a huge rush as I have found the standard delivery to be efficient, reliable and fast. Orders are usually despatched the next day with standard delivery and usually only take 2 days to come, in fact I have had orders turn up the day after purchasing in the past. They email you to tell you the order is despatched which is always handy.
The Body Shop packaging is always attractive and colourful and the products themselves are just lovely, a real treat. Their body butters are rich, luxurious and smell heavenly, their perfumes are delicious, none are overpowering, there seems to be one to suit all moods and preferences. Their gift sets are beautifully packaged and great value for money. I buy so many gifts from The Body Shop because they have a 'special' feel, in my opinion. When there's a sale on or a good discount code I like to stock up on gifts to save money.
Overall I would definitely recommend The Body Shop! I would recommend the website more than the shop because of the larger range of products (sometimes they release older stock at a reduced price, I've never seen them do this in-store) and because you can use discount codes and get a real bargain!
I am a member of the website Moneysavingexpert.com and a couple of years ago noticed that there was a lot of chatter on the forums about the marvellous deals you could get at the Bodyshop online. Most of the deals involved using codes issued by the brand which gave huge discounts off the price of products or freebies if you spent a certain amount. People also raved about the quality of the products from the brand. I had been an occasional customer of my local high street branch until this time. I was really attracted by the ethical stance of the store however I always found items a little too expensive for my budget. So when I discovered that the online store enticed customers with these money saving codes I was eager to start shopping online!
The website for the UK online store can be located at:
Any current offers are usually highlighted on the main page. The discounts are usually given in the form of alphanumeric codes which you can enter during checkout or prior to shopping so that the discounts automatically appear against the pricing list. You can also find codes if you simply type 'bodyshop vouchers' into a search engine. Current deals are usually highlighted and I've often found some of the most interesting offers by doing this. Common offers include things like 50% off, 35% off, free postage if you spend £5, a free gift if you spend a certain amount, 2 for 1 offers and buy one get one free.
The Bodyshop online stocks the same products as the high street stores. The online shop also has an 'outlet' section though where you can buy products which are in 'clearance' mode or special products which have exclusive discounts applied to them. Although you can't smell or see the products as you shop online the rich descriptions of each product is helpful and on things like make-up the colour swatches are fairly accurate.
I've shopped many times at the online store now and have always made sure I shop when there is a good deal available. You really can save pounds doing this. The first time I shopped there I had to register my name, address and email. This resulted in me getting promotional emails from the company which alert me to future deals. The registration process was very simple and I found the payment section also easy to work through. Your order details are printed clearly at all times.
The site is easy to navigate with the menu split into sections for each product category such as make-up, gifts, bath products, skin products etc. There is also a dedicated men's section. It is even possible to shop according to the range of the product - the brand make several different products in a certain fragrance or formula. Items are often available in different sizes and therefore priced differently to how you see them on the main page. You can either click on the item to reveal the alternative sizes or go to the item page to find this information.
Once you place an order you get a confirmation email which includes a summary of your order. You also receive notification of when the order is processed and dispatched which is very helpful. All of my orders arrive a few days after they are marked as dispatched. As all of my orders so far have been small orders they always arrive in a well padded envelope. Products aren't usually extra bubble wrapped but I've had no spillages from any bottles so far. An invoice is included for your records.
The products at the Bodyshop are high quality and as well as buying for myself I like to get gifts for my family. The body butters are a favourite of mine and some of the moisturisers are very good. I'm hoping to try some of the exotic perfumes soon. I love that the ingredients of the products contain natural essences and lots of fair trade sourced ingredients. I also like that the brand use ingredients that not tested on animals although now that they are owned by L'oreal there is a question mark about how strictly this code is enforced.
I have been a very happy customer of the Bodyshop online for a while now and have complete trust in the brand to provide a high quality service. I'm happy with the prices I pay although standard delivery is £2.99 and express delivery is £4.99. I usually look for a deal which provides free postage though. I will continue to shop here in the future and I've almost stopped visiting my high street stores to buy anything as I can always get a better deal online. I would recommend having a browse and seeing if anything catches your eye. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
About The Body Shop
= = = = = = = = = = = =
The Body Shop opened its first UK shop back in 1976 when Anita Roddick visited a shop in California, selling naturally scented soaps and lotions. This shop was called The Body Shop. This shop was run by Peggy Short and Jane Saunders where they used natural ingredients in their products and helped to employ and train immigrant woman. The natural, environmentally minded and intimate cosmetics shop inspired Anita Roddick to open her own shop in the UK in 1976. Since it's first launch The Body Shop has experienced rapid growth and has a total of 2,400 stores across 61 countries including Belgium, Greece, Iceland, Hong Kong, Norway, Japan, Mexico, Korea and more. The Body Shop is actually now part of the L'Oreal corporate group. The Body Shop make their products with love and care so never test any of their products on animals and all their products are 100% vegetarian. They are the first international cosmetics brand to be recognized under the Humane Cosmetics Standard for their Against Animal Testing Policy. The company also believe in fair trade to such an extent they actually set up their own fair trade programme which is called Community Fair Trade. This programme works with over 30 suppliers in more than 20 countries, providing over 25,000 people across the globe with essential income to build their futures. Most of The Body Shop products contain Community Trade ingredients. The Body Shop also has their own charity, which is The Body Shop Foundation. This was launched in 1990 and the charity gives financial support to pioneering, frontline organisations that otherwise have little hope of conventional funding. The foundation's focus is to assist those working to achieve progress in the areas of human and civil rights, environmental and animal protections.

The Body Shop sells a very large of beauty and cosmetic products suitable for different hair and skin types. Their range of products includes Facial, Hair and Body products as well as Make-Up and products for the home such as scented oils and candles. Their products are suitable for both men and woman and there is bound to be a product to suit you. The Body Shop have a huge range of different types of items whether you have dry, oily or combination skin you will be able to find a product that suits you and your skin type. I have been buying from The Body Shop for about the last 5-6 months, when I was so impressed at the results of using one of their moisturisers for my dry skin. This tempted me to try other products from The Body Shop and since I purchase from the website on a regular basis and love trying on their new products. As well as products for both men and woman they also do a range for Baby as well.

= = = = =
I often browse the new products on the website and I sometimes browse other categories too to see if I fancy trying anything new. If I know what I am looking for such as Vitamin E moisturiser I will go to Shop by Range and select this range from the list. I can then browse all the products in this particular range which makes shopping easy, especially as I buy a lot of products from this range. If you are browsing a specific item such as Body Cleaners you can choose whether to display the products by price, bestseller, new or top rated. The page will loads and you will see lots of different pictures of the products and the name of the product underneath along with the price and how many stars people have rated the product. For example if I decide to look at the information for the Cocoa Butter Creamy Wash I can see that it's been rated 4.6 out of 5 stars. If you click on the product you can read some more information about it, the list of ingredients it contains and also customers reviews of the products as well. You can then choose whether you want to purchase the item or not. It will tell you what sizes the product is available in and what the price is for each size, simply select the size you want and the price will be displayed on the right hand side. Simply click 'Add to Bag' and this product will be added to your bag. You can then go to the checkout or continue to shop on the website. Your bag in the top right hand corner will now be updated and you can now see how many items you have in your bag along with the total price of goods you have chosen. It may also recommend other products to you as you place items in your bag. This can be related product for example if you purchase the Cocoa Butter Creamy Wash it may suggest the Cocoa Butter Body Butter as well.
= = = = = = = = =
Your bag is displayed on the top right hand corner and you can click on it anytime to add, remove or view the items in your bag. The list of items in your bag will be displayed along with a small picture of the item and the size and price of the item you have chosen. You can remove the item simply by clicking the remove button and confirming that you want the item removed or you can add more quantities simply by typing it into the quantity box alongside the product. You can then click Update and it will update everything in your bag. From viewing your bag you can continue shopping or you can go to the checkout to pay for your items. If you have any vouchers codes you must enter them on the screen where you can view your bag in order for it to be applied. You will see on this page whether it has taken any discounts off your shopping and if it has this will be clearly displayed. I ordered quite a few items a few weeks ago and I got 40% off every item. This showed be the price of the item before and after the discount which was handy as I knew that the discount had been applied to everything. (I got lots of bargains that day including some Hemp Balm for just 50p!)
When you proceed to the checkout you will need to sign in or if you haven't registered on the site you will need to register. This doesn't take long though and all they do is ask you for your address. You will need to enter your billing and shipping address if you are a new member and then this information will be saved when you shop on the website again. You can choose a range of delivery options including Express or Standard Delivery. Express Delivery is the most expensive at £4.99 which takes 2 days to get to you. Standard delivery is the cheapest option at £2.99 but takes a slightly longer time of 5 days. Please note, how-ever if you spend over £20 you qualify for free standard delivery anyway. You will see a summary of the items in your bag again and here you can modify your bag if you wish to. It's good that this gives you a few chances to do this in case you change your mind about anything. The total cost of the items plus delivery will be shown so you know how much you are paying. Payments are confirmed and processed through Verisign and you can use Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro or Solo to pay for your goods. Once you have completed your payment you will get taken to a confirmation page stating your order has been successful and that you will also receive a confirmation e-mail shortly as well.
= = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
As soon as I placed the order I received a confirmation e-mail which gave me details of the items I had ordered and the total price paid. It stated that this was a confirmation e-mail and that I would receive another one as soon as my order was despatched. Approximately 2 days later I received the despatch e-mail stating the goods had been despatched to my address and that delivery would take approximately 2-3 days. I think I received the goods approximately 2 days later after receiving this e-mail. The goods I ordered came in a box which was strong so the goods didn't have much of a chance getting damaged whilst in transit. There was an invoice in the box stating the items I had ordered and the total price. It gave some basic information about returns. I wasn't in any rush for the items so the Standard Delivery service worked well for me and it was nice to be updated on when the goods were actually sent to me so I would know when to expect them. The goods came via Royal Mail. 1 week or so after receiving your items you may get sent an e-mail from The Body Shop asking you to write and review your purchases on the website. I quite often do this. They also normally give you 10% off your next online order as well; how-ever this does normally have an expiry date on it.
= = = = = = = = = =
You can return goods to your local store or to the address stated on their website. If returning goods to a store you need to take delivery documentation and confirmation e-mail with you otherwise and exchange/refund cannot be processed. If you return your goods to Head Office you need to include a number of things with the goods including different documentation from the delivery and confirmation order showing your order number. List & description of the items being returned, reason for return, a copy of the receipt and it's also best to obtain proof of purchase. You can find more detailed information about this on their website. I have never had any reason to return goods so I can't comment on this process.

The website is easy to use and is fast at loading pages. Due to the colourful pictures on the different pages it makes the website appealing and fun to use. I always find it easy to find a specific product on the website whether I type it into the search box or look for the product by range I can normally find what I am looking for in less then a minute. I love the offers that they regularly have on here and some of them are fantastic. In fact I check the website weekly for new offers and find this is always a great chance to top up on products as some of their items can be quite pricey. I have never had any problems with making payment through the website and I have never had any issues with deliveries not turning up or wrong items being sent to me. I find their products extremely good quality and most of their products live up to their claims and the reviews that people have written about them. I would highly recommend this website to others and I would also recommend that you check out the offers on the website before popping into your local town to purchase the goods as you may find that they work out a lot cheaper online. I can't really find any faults with the website apart from that it's addictive & I often spend more money on here then I originally planned.
(review will also appear on ciao)
I had recently been recommended to use one of the Body Shop shower gels by a family member who swears by that particular one as it smells heavenly! The problem for me though is that there are very few Body Shop stores near to where I live, so as result I decided to try their online store.
The site was really attractive with many a product on the home page with links to all the different offers they had available. I'm pretty sure these change quite regularly so it's advisable to keep an eye on their site. The site was really easy to move around and quickly find the products you are wanting...and some more you weren't planning on buying!
After finding the shower gel I wanted, I added it to my online basket and could continue shopping for other items. After I'd finished shopping, the actual buying of the items was so simple I couldn't believe I hadn't bought from The Body Shop online before.
I had to create an account to give them the relevant delivery address and an email address that they could confirm my order to. I then had the option of choosing standard delivery or the express delivery - I opted for standard as I was in no rush for the product. I must have timed it well as they were offering free standard delivery on all orders.
After making the payment, I instantly received an email with the details of my order and it's current status. I could also log onto the Body Shop website at any time to see the progress of my order.
Within 3 days of placing the order, it arrived! I was really impressed with their speed of delivery especially as I had chosen the standard delivery option. The only down side with having chosen this delivery option was that I didn't get any tracking information to monitor where my products were, which I do find useful especially if wanting items by a specific date for a birthday for example.
Overall I was happy with the service I received from The Body Shop online store. It was very easy to use and my items soon arrived, it had certainly saved me some valuable time not having to go to an actual store.
For the future I'm quite confident I will use their online store again, however it doesn't replace the experience you get from visiting one of their shops and smelling all their wonderful products!
Ok I'm a girl, but I hate shopping in the conventional sense.... If I can do it on line I will. So I have quite alot of experience at ordering from a variety of different websites.
BODY SHOP ONLINE
I came across body shop on line after I had bought from a body shop party but really couldnt be bothered to drive to my local store about 8 miles away. I was pleased to find that you could buy all your favourite products on line.
I browsed the site for around about an hour and I have to say it is one of the most well laid out and easy to use sites that I have come across.
All the products are clear and easily found within the main home page, there is a search box and nice clear photographs so you can ensure you are buying the right products.
There is also a SALE section or special offers which are absolutely fantastic, for instance 2 body butters for one, saving me £12.50!
Is really easy all you do is click to put it in your basket. Also what I found was that during the check out procedure Body Shop actually apply any special offers and discounts. So, there is none of this entering your code at check out (which I normally forget!)
POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
Is (at time of publication) free over £15.00 sent by Royal Mail, but there is another option to upgrade to next day delivery if you need something in a rush, for a few extra pounds!
KEEPING IN TOUCH
Body Shop will email you regularly but its usually with some fantastic offers like BOGOF or 20-30% off so worth being on their email list!
On the two occasions that I have purchased items from Body Shop I have received them within 2-3days with the free delivery option (on their website they say 3-5 days)
Packaging has always been excellent and all my items have been received in perfect condition!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ESPECIALLY IF YOU DONT LIKE CONVENTIONAL SHOPPING LIKE ME!
I have just discovered the bodyshop online store and it has quickly become a favourite for buying gifts.
Firstly I discovered it via Quidco which at present is offering an amazing 18% cashback on purchases (this is a special offer so the cash back does vary)
Then I discovered 'daily deals' and so far have picked up a sweet lemon hand wash caddy for half price and coconut body butter for half price. The shower gels are all currently 2 for 8 pounds.
The website is well set out and has all the favourite products. I found it very easy to use.
Delivery is free on orders over 20 pounds which is a huge bonus and why I've found it so good to order birthday nice presents. With the special offers you can get quite a bit for the money and it's delivered free of charge in around 4 days.
I also signed up for the 'love your body' card. It costs a fiver and gives you 10% off every order plus you get freebies when you have made a certain number of purchases and in your birthday month.
Overall I would reccommend this website for the great deals and value for money.
The bodyshop was never really on my radar. It wasn't that I didn't like it, or had anything against it, it was just that there are so many other beauty brands out there that I really like, that I had no spare room in my life for the body shop! The first time I ordered on the body shop online was before Christmas and I came across it because it was recommended on Martin Lewis's site, www.moneysavingexpert.com. There was a special offer that someone had found out about and was advertising, and it was a good way for me to stock up on a few Christmas gifts.
I found the Body Shop website light and airy refreshing, modern and funky. It was easy to navigate around. The main page had a big offer on the front and across the top it has tabs with different catagories (bath and body, make up, etc). On the left hand side it had a sale and special offers tab which is always worth looking at in my opinion as the prices at the Body Shop are relatively high and the special offers are always good value, good things reduced rather than old rubbish they are cleaning out like some sales. It often has a box at the bottom about postage, how much it is or if it is free on special orders.
When you select an item or category they are all very well displayed. You can either look at a few items per page or you can select view all and old more per page, I guess it depends how quickly you want your page to load and if you are prepared to be overwhelmed with items.
There are pages with information about frequently asked questions and postage. The body shop use two different methods of postage, depending on weight, wither royal mail or a courier service (DHL) I think. I have ordered many parcels now and they have all got to me within a week, no matter what postage service I have used.
Overall I find the Body Shop website very clear and easy to use, the products are displayed easily and the options are clear. Prices are obvious and postage is quick. My perfect website.
The Body Shop Online shop is a very easy to use site, with items categorised to make it so simple to use eg bath and body, haircare and offers. Always check out their offers page for buy one get one free, 3 for 2, great money saving offers but also their sale section often has amazing deals which aren;t in the shops.
If you own or want to join up to the Love Your Body reward scheme (please view my other review on this for full details of benefits) you can use you 10% discount which is automatically applied and saved for future purchases. The only down side is that you can't get your card stamped to get closer to your free gifts, however the online promotions often outweigh this. Eg in January all body butters were half price, and currently most shower gels are buy one get one free.
Delivery is free on purchases over £15 or £3.99 if under. However, today my total spend came to £18.50 (Mango Body Scrub £12.20, x2 Shower gels buy one get one free £6.00 = £18.50) but I had a voucher code (was given to me in store £5 off when you spend £10 but if you search MoneySaving Expert.com they give you the code for free). This reduced my total to £13.50 and delivery was still free. I was amazed that I received £24.50 worth of products for £13.50 with free delivery saving a whopping £11.00 and then to top that I went through TopCashBack and claimed back 15% of what I spent!!!
Overall the site is easy to use, I would wait until they have a good offer on and stock up so you get free delivery and ALWAYS go through a cash back site. My parcels were mainly delivered the next day and at latest 3 days later. They are well packaged so never broken or damaged.
I recently used this site upon recommendation due to the amount of post christmas offers that there are on there.
Before logging on I used Top Cash Back to gain 15% back off my spend and Quidco also offers this which is a significant saving really so well worth signing up to one of these if you have not done so already.
The site was relatively quick to load onto my screen. It was bright and fresh, and I found it very very easy indeed to navigate.
At the moment although I am not exactly sure quite how long it will last is free home delivery. Usually £2.99/£3.99 depending on what service you use, £2.99 I think is particularly reasonable for a home delivery charge.
The clarity of the web site is excellent. Products can be displayed price wise or according to the alphabet which is very useful especially the price one or if you are looking for a particular product alphabet it all!! The images are large and clearly displayed for the products against a white background. It is just the job and makes it very easy to view and shop from.
There is a link on the top bar leading you to advice and tips, including make up looks and what products to go for, shaving tips, skin care and also skin type diagnosis.
The sections I found very relevant and very well laid out. At the top are more like information links and underneath you will actually find the shopping links to take you to various dperatments of the web site, the first couple were sale and offers. This section was really good and there were some brilliant bargains starting from £2 so I added some bits and bobs which again was easy to do and I could visit my online basket at any time using the top right hand corner of the page link.
The sign up and check out process was as simple as simple can be, not really long winded like a lot of them can be.
I am still waiting for my delivery so will update once have received it.
In the past I have ordered on-line form The Body shop on-line, however over recent months I've used the website less and less. Not because there is anything wrong with it, but because I have found better, more economical ways of purchasing Body Shop products.
Firstly let me explain a little bit about The Body Shop website... The site is very easy to navigate and placing an order is quite simple. All of the latest offers are advertised on the home page and often you get free gifts on the website when you spend over a certain amount.
When I've ordered from the website in the past I've never experienced any problems. At the moment delivery is free on orders over £15 and you pay £2.99 for deliveries under that amount. If you want your item faster, you can also pay for express delivery which is £4.99. Personally I've only ever used the standard delivery system, which takes between two and five working days and it is more than adequate, items arrive well packaged and there has never been a mix up with my order.
I regularly receive e-mails from The Body Shop on-line, telling me about the latest offers and discounts. These e-mails do occasionally prompt me to log on and make a purchase.
****** Why don't you regularly buy from The Body Shop online? ****
More often than not I will buy Body Shop products from the store, or from eBay.
The reason I shop at the store is because if I am looking for a new product then I will probably need advice from one of The Body Shop assistants who is well informed. They will be able to demonstrate new products to me and advise me about the products that suit my skin and colouring best.
There is a section called "looks and tips" on The Body Shop site, but really this is aimed at getting you to purchase a range of makeup rather than just a single item and I don't think enough is explained about each product, so it would be difficult to make an informed decision.
You can read customer reviews on The Body Shop website... although I'd say the Body Shop reviews on Dooyoo are more comprehensive.
If I have used a product before and I know what I am looking for then I usually pick the item up for on eBay because this is much cheaper. All of the makeup I have received this way has been brand new, this is because lot of people become Body Shop at home consultants for short periods of time and when they have finished they sell their surplus kit and stock on eBay. Also, people sell items unwanted gifts on eBay, so it works well if you know what you're looking for.
Although there is nothing wrong with the Body Shop website I think that in many ways it is surplus to requirements, which is why I'm giving it three out of five Dooyoo stars.
Recently my wife and I were online looking for presents to take down to her family as early christmas presents (I know it is madly early but we are going down soon). The site was well designed and easy to use and offered a large amount of special offers along with a fantastic range of products that were excellent value for money for the quality of items on offer.
The bodyshop is a magnificent retailer who online offer the same fantastic range of products as in their high street stores. The main products that have been purchased by myself and my wife are items like bathbombs, fragrances, soaps, cosmetics and moisturisers and all of the items we have ever purchased from them have been fantastic in their quality and quick in their delivery.
- Excellent quality products
- Fantastic variety of products
- Well designed and simple to use website
- Quick and reasonably priced delivery
- Great value for money
- Great online only offers can be picked up
- None that I have experienced
I would recommend using bodyshop online for those looking for excellent luxury products for a reasonable price and a quick delivery.
I often purchase items online from the Body Shop and must say the process of shopping online here is fantastic. A number of websites offer cashback for shopping through here so you automatically will save money when clicking through them. The other thing is you can find codes online plus the site often has good offers on.
My last shop on here was on a bank holiday on the website and bought a few items on the site. Shopping here is very simple you can browse the items on the site easily and the pictures are very high quality so you get a good idea of the product you are buying on the website.
I came across a issue on my last order with one item missing from the order. I sent a email to the website and they offered me a refund or a replacement. I took the replacement and got my product from the website in the next day. They are also very quick in sending out deliveries for the products you order on the site. Normally for me I end up getting my orders in the space of 2 days! Free delivery codes are often found for the site and their prices online offer more value than in store.
Often you can pick up free gifts with your purchases online for some reason. They also have clearance stock available at much cheaper prices online on the site to. I prefer doing shopping here than the store now because of the many advantages mostly cash back and the use of codes makes it shopping on here cheaper.
If like me you love the Body Shop but don't have a store near you, the Body Shop website will be a godsend for you. You can buy all your favourite Body Shop products from the comfort of your own home and have them delivered straight to your door.
The site is nice and bright and cheerful looking, with lots of pictures of new products and offers giving the homepage some interest. It's easy to navigate and you can easily find what you're looking for using the tabs across the top of the page or the search box.
It sells all the Body Shop products, and there are often some great offers on, including some online exclusives. You can find all the information you need about the products on the site, as well as more general information about the company, where your nearest store is etc.
They also have a 'looks and tips' section, which has demos on how to create certain makeup looks and how to get the best out of their products. I've found this section very helpful when I'm looking for products to create a certain look as it lists all the products they've used for the look as well as how to use them.
They have customer reviews on the products, so you can add your own review of any products you've used, and read other people's reviews before deciding whether or not the product is worth buying, which is really helpful.
Delivery is currently (until 31st December 09) free on any order over £15, or £2.99 on orders under £15. You can also opt for express delivery for £4.99 if you want your items faster. I've always used the standard delivery, which they say should take between 2 and 5 working days to arrive, and it has always been 4 or 5 days before I've received my order.
The items always arrive securely packaged, and they usually include a free sample in the box. My orders have always been correct and I've never had any need to contact customer services because the service I've received has been excellent.
All in all this is a site well worth visiting.
Thumbs up from me.
