Advantages: Same great products! Same humane campaigns!

The Body Shop online is just as great as the actual stores. Like I mentioned in my previous review, I am completely addicted to both the online and actual Body Shops, but the online shops come in handy when I am in countries where they (shockingly) don't have this shop yet. Furthermore, I also love the fact that there are many more bargains on their online shop. Usually when I'm out of the country, I will log on the site and buy a couple of items which I will deliver straight to my place (makes no logic, I know!). The prices are practically the same, so I would say that it's a great site to shop if you simply don't have time to go out.


The home page immediately takes you to a peaceful retreat where you can do all your shopping in the privacy of your home. It is all done up in soft orange, green and white colors, reminiscent of exotic places and smells. The main elements in the home page are the current (and attractive) bargains on certain specific products. In addition, I was also grinning by the time that I saw a nice little logo saying that there is going to be "Free Standard Delivery on all orders over £10! If you are a member, the home page also informs you that there is a 20% sale off a New Tea Tree Skin Care Range for you.


Ease of accessibility of the site is fantastic! I love shopping, and I have often got lost in certain online shopping sites but this one is neatly divided into sections and columns. At the very top of the page you will see the tabs: home, shop, values & campaigns, the lounge and loyalty. These are quite interesting and I would highly recommend clicking on these taps before starting your shopping session. The Values and Campaigns tab, for example, takes you to a nice page where they not only state their values, but also promote campaigns such as Breaking the Silence on Domestic Violence. This is out of the shopping range, I know, but I really, really appreciate the humane side of this fantastic shop.


Back to the shopping- Like I said, everything is neatly classified. Tabs are divided into these items:

* Look & Tips (worth taking a look at!!)


One word on the sale section- when they say sale, they mean it! In fact, this is where I get nearly all of my products from! You have items which, for example, used to be £8.30 and come down to £3.00. I visited the site recently and bought a great Passion Fruit Body Scrub which used to be £12.20 and got marked down to £3.90. Great bargain isn't it?


On a last note, I would say that I have shopped on the online store for quite a while and never had any problems with it. Delivery is prompt and I usually get what I expect. The only minor drawback might be the delivery fee, but there are usually special free delivery packages.
