......... well, if I knew that I wouldn't be writing this!! Still, never mind.

So, thedailydraw is a lottery site which is nothing particularly new. Other sites like Bananalotto have been going for a while longer - and in fact I've won about £6 total. Unfortunately I've not won anything yet with thedailydraw.

The idea is simple, play every day - choose 6 numbers, click on an advert and if you match 4 you win £25, 5 numbers is £5000 and £6 is £1million. As with all lotteries the steep step in winnings from 4 to 5 numbers is massive. Why not have lower total prizes and allow people to win more for fewer numbers. I would guess it's all down to people not being encouraged by prizes of less than £1million - even if there's virtually no chance of winning.

I've had 3 numbers once but other than that no luck.

I heard about this site through an e-mail from mypoints.co.uk - which is another rewards site which is quite good. For playing 8 times I can earn 25 points. better than nothing.

As there are only 6 numbers and not 7 - you're more likely to win thedailydraw than Bananalotto - which has also recently scrapped the 50p prize which is a shame. not that i'm worried about 50p - but it IS nice to win something every now and again.

All sites using adverts like this seem to be in trouble - especially pay to surf programmes, such as Surfmiles which has recently closed.

While it lasts it's quite a good program, despite having to wait until I win anything at the moment. Sites like this seem to work best when you signup to several and play them all every day - after all, why not - it's a chance of some free money at the end of the day!!
