Advantages: Jam packed with information. Helps you plan a better holiday

Disadvantages: None! It's fantastic!

Thedibb.co.uk is an absolutely fantastic site. Aimed at British holidaymakers, it is jam-packed with loads of information for those planning a holiday to Orlando and more notable Walt Disney World, Florida. It also has lots of intormation on other Orlando theme parks, such as Universal, Gatorland, Discovery Cove, Busch Gardens, Sea World and the newly opened Aqautica.

The main page is dedicated to news about the Disney Parks and is updated regularly. There are also competitions, offers and advertorials

The information pages are broken down into sections, with a menu down the left hand side of the page, to make navigation easier. These sections include: Disney Parks, the Universal Parks, Worlds of Discovery Parks, Other Parks, Disney Hotel Resorts, Information (including sub catagories like weather, planning, shopping etc), Disney Dining (including menus, restaurant reviews and photos, information on the 'Character Dinings' and info for Diabetics) and the final section is dedicated to information and tips on 'Disney with kids'. Each and every one of these sections is absolutely packed with everything you could possibly need to know, is always up to date and includes photos and first hand reviews by recent visitors.

Also on the website is a wonderful 'Forum'. I myself am a member and have spent many, MANY happy hours in there, making friends, asking and answering questions. It's a very friendly community (members are collectively known as 'Dibbers') who treat each others with total repsect and are very welcoming of other members and newcomers. There is no 'clique-iness' about it, which is very refreshing. You can upload your pictures into your avatar, or you can use one of their, pre-loaded Disney ones. You can also add to your holiday planning anticipation, by adding a countdown timer to your signature! You can also PM (personal message) other users, to have private conversations.

There's a wonderful tool on the dibb, which helps you to plan your holiday. It's an electronic planner that allows you to personalise it. You can add details, such as:

Flight and Passenger Details,
Accommodation planner,
Car hire/transfer details,
Meal Planner,
ADR (Advance dining reservations) when you are able to book them,
Theme Park Planner,
Activity Planner,
Notes and other activities,
Birthday Reminder.

You can also get help with your planner and view other users planners, to get inspiration (or just be nosey!)

The site is nicely laid out, with colourful graphics and pictures and is easy to navigate. The only thing is that you could literally spend hour upon hour reading the masses of information!

Having been to Disney World, Florida a few times I have used both the information pages and the forums to plan some fantastic holidays, which included experiences, meals and rides that I would never have known about, had I not been to this site.

I would and have recommend this site to anyone planning a trip to Disney World!
