After long delays with MusicMagpie cheques and insulting offers from swap websites, working with Jason to value my DVD collection was a refreshing change. Flexible on amounts, very easy to talk to and work with, he was very quick to delivery a comprehensive quotation for my collection and valued it at something more realistic than the other sites I'd been painstakingly typing my barcodes into. Courier pickup was arranged quickly and a cheque arrived in the post exactly when promised, despite all the adverse weather of the time. In short, can't recommend highly enough. Once you get over the fact your DVD collection isn't worth anything near what you paid for it, TheDVDBuyer is a far better way to realise some quick cash than trying to sell individually on ebay or waiting months for MusicMagpie to "check and verify" before getting anything out of them. If you've a collection sitting around, give him a try - my old DVD collection was transformed into a pre-Christmas holiday and I've Jason to thank for making that happen in time.
Really quick and efficient service and very easily done.No registration required unlike other sites and, the price quoted was higher than the others I listed my DVD's with.Package picked up next day by courier as arranged and payment received by paypal the following day.
This is a really good way to sell unwanted dvds. The guy is very patient and responds quickly to emails. It's all straightforward - just enter the name and bar code number of the dvd, you get an offer and the dvds are then collected by courier. Couldn't be easier. Would definitely recommend highly.
i found the dvd buyer very fast and efficient and i will definetley use them again in the future. the whole process is done within a week which i find excellent.
This service is great! Sent off my dvds (by courier, paid by The DVD Buyer) and received payment the very next day through PayPal. A very fast and easy transaction. The DVD Buyer is a far better service than Music Magpie. I did try Music Magpie first, but I was unimpressed by their prices amongst other things. I would definitely recommend The DVD Buyer to anyone wishing to sell their dvds . I shall certainly use this service again. Well done and thankyou.
RECOMMENDED! Very fast turn around (I had the money the day after I sent the DVDs!!!), very good quote too. I'm a happy guy. Thanks DVDBuyer!
I found The Dvd Buyer a great company to deal with whilst selling my used items. I found that the price they offered was much higher than companies such as webuydvds.com and CEX (UK) Ltd to name a few.Another great advantage of using The Dvd Buyer is that they arranged for my goods to be collected from me via DHL Courier Service which made things a lot easier for me.I am having a further clear out of dvds and will definately be using Thedvdbuyer again and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for great service, good pricing and fast payment. The service at The Dvd Buyer is second to none.
The dvd buyer website is a place to sell all your games dvds and blu rays. i was going to sell my dvds on magpie.com as it is a well known website but they only offered me £180 for them so i as dvd buyer and they offered £283.41 which was great. not only did they offer more they even send a courier so you don't have to drag boxes down post office . the courier came the next working day and recieved payment within two days. all in all this is a Brilliant website and will use again and again and will even tell friends and family about it. thank you dvd buyer for making selling dvds easy. the only thing he could change is the way you fill out the form as it takes a long time writing the name of the film then the bar code but other than that its a great webstie. CHEERS
TheDVDBuyer.co.uk is a website where you can sell your DVDs, Blu-Rays and video games quickly and easily to make some extra cash, de-clutter your home or get rid of stuff that's been stored away for ages that you just never get round to watching or using. The website is pretty straightforward to use and gives you all the information you need. Once you have gathered together the items that you want to sell, you go on the "Get Started" page and send off a list of your items with the titles and barcodes. The DVD Buyer then replies to you giving you a price for your items. If you are happy with the price, a courier is arranged to pick up the stuff from you. You can get sent a cheque in payment for your items or you can get a paypal payment (but obviously paypal charge a small fee). The aim is that the process is simple and straightforward so the price you are offered is what you will receive rather than having various fees to take into account. I've sold stuff to The DVD Buyer a couple of times now. First I sold the minimum 20 DVDs to make sure it worked okay. I sold my 20 DVDs for £18.54. There were a couple of series and the rest just normal titles. I had tried Music Magpie before The DVD Buyer as I had already heard of Music Magpie but I was only offered £9.17 on there so I was more than happy to sell to The DVD Buyer instead. I got my payment through paypal the day after the courier picked them up - I just wanted my money as soon as possible. The turnaround, both times for me, was quick. This depends on your choice of payment method and how quick you can hand the items over to the courier. I have heard the usual stories of people waiting up to 2 months for the cash from Music Magpie. I have been very happy with the service and the speed of turnaround. I know I probably could have made more money selling them individually on ebay or Amazon, but I just wanted to get rid of this stuff quickly and without the hassle of dealing with posting and everything else. So, if this sounds like the kind of thing for you, give it a go!
