Like it's '.co.uk' brother, ticketmaster.com is a ticketing website which sells tickets to the latest sporting events, concerts, theatre productions, family events and comedy shows. The .com version of the site focuses on tickets in the United States, featuring events taking place in any of the 50 states across the pond. Despite being an American site, UK residents can also purchase tickets through this site for any potential overseas trips to the USA. Purchasing tickets is done in a very similar way to the UK site. If theres one thing people should always know, it is to buy concert/gig tickets from reputable companys. One of these is ticketmaster! Lots of companys say they are legitimate and then scam you so be careful! Ticketmaster are well known all over the world and are probably one of the biggest ticket displayers along with seetickets. They allow a person to confidently book tickets to a show and reley on them actually be delivered. This is usually done by a courier service a few days before the event! I was introduced to this website by a friend when I wanted to buy some theatre tickets. I found it very useful and have kept it bookmarked ever since. It is true that ticketing websites such as this invariably adds a service charge when you purchase tickets from them. From my experience, Ticketmaster normally charges around £1.50 - £3.00 per ticket. To avoid such charges you can do what I do. I use this website to check the avilability of any tickets I want and then purchase the tickets myself at the Box Office.
