“ Total Nonstop Action Wrestling news „
"TNAWrestling.com" is the official website for the American professional wrestling promotion known as "Total Nonstop Action". The website was first launched around the time of the promotion's conception in 2002 and has remained a primary resource for fans of the product. Alexa traffic research ranks the website as currently being the 12755th most accessed website in the world. It's estimated that 45% of its usage comes from users in the United States where it is ranked 5167. In the United Kingdom, its rank is 3731.
The recent announcement of Hulk Hogan's signing with the promotion has sent a shock wave throughout the wrestling world. It has been the talk of many fan networks and in the process has created a surge in traffic on the TNA website. Alexa reports that there has been a significant increase in both reach and pageviews over the last month. I had infrequently used the website prior to the Hogan signing due to receiving my TNA news elsewhere, but after such a big acquisition I now regularly find myself accessing the page to stay as up to date as possible.
The design of the website is simple to use. At the top of the page rests a menu with all of the main headings which access further information. Currently, information contained within the headings pertain to the talent roster, television broadcasts, pay per view events, web shop and an interactive section which links to external websites including the official Twitter and Facebook accounts. Each function acts as a drop down menu which links to information related to the heading; such as "Superstar roster" underneath the "Stars" heading. The colour scheme of the website keeps with the brand's official look and includes black text on a white or black background with various accents of red throughout. I don't find the website to be hard on the eyes and am able to read all articles with ease.
TNAWrestling.com is very graphic intensive. Immediately upon loading the website, fans and users alike are met with graphic banners which promote their talent roster and upcoming shows. There are also embedded video players which stream video content from Youtube.com related to the events going on. While this design does allow users to quickly access information right from their initial log on, it does create a somewhat slow loading environment. Independent testing suggests the website requires 6.2 seconds to load when using a broadband connection. This figure does not include the time which it takes to fully load any externally hosted objects, such as the Youtube videos, which may further extend the waiting process. I have never found the website to be overly sluggish but it's possible dial-up users may find the website too slow for their needs.
Overall, TNAWrestling.com has met my needs for up to date content regarding the Total Nonstop Action wrestling promotion. It is an easy to use reference which I have found an increasing need for as a professional wrestling fan. I would happily recommend it to those seeking further information regarding the product.
TNAwrestling.com is the official website for North American pro wrestling organisation TNA, also know as Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling. TNA wrestling first came to the world of wrestling in the year 2002 and featured many of the top stars of american wrestling who wernt with the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). The website is a good looking one and is very acccesible and eay to use. Everything you could possibly need to know is located in the navigation bar at the top and has a very quick load time which wont make you leave the site. The website is updated with all the latest news in the world of TNA very regularly and also features exclusive photo galleries of its Knockouts (female wrestlers). Also on the site is TNA's own online store which sells everything from dvds, to figures to clothing, all for a very reasonable proce too. The only thing i dont like about this website is that if your already a fan of TNA then there isnt really much for you as you will already know the latest news etc.
