Tombola.co.uk is yet another website which offers you the chance of winning substantial amounts of money for a few seconds of your time.

Every player is given a game card (for each game) which is renewed daily. There are 4 games on the site at the moment, they are as follows

Treasure Trail

This is your classic scratch game where you have to match 3 symbols to win a prize. The prizes range from £20 to a possible £5,000 jackpot, although you may share the jackpot as it is split amongst all jackpot winners that week.

This game is updated regularly to keep it topical. Last week had a valentines theme, which keeps the game fresh looking. The annoying thing about this game is you always nearly win but never actually win, well in my experiences anyway. I know this is intended to make you keep coming back but it doesn't really have that effect and just succeeds in annoying me.

Passport

This is my least favourite of the games. You are given 6 destinations on your passport. You must click on 12 destinations and match all 6 from those 12. Again 5 out of 6 is a regular occurrence. Although in this games favour it is the quickest of the 3 interactive games.

Syndicates

This is my favourite game and probably the reason why I go back to the site as often as I do. You and 49 other people are given numbers for the next Saturday National Lottery draw. You share any winnings for matching all 6, 5 and the bonus or 5. Any winnings for matching 3 or 4 means a prize too small to split so 1 member of the syndicate is selected at random and receives the prize. The thing I like about this game is the winners are not predetermined. With every other game I go in knowing it is incredibly unlikely I will win. At least with this game the result is out of the site owners’ hands. Although the odds are probably worse!

Fetch with Lycos

The Lycos search engine is the basis for the last
game. Similar to Treasure Trail you have to match the tokens (4 to win this time) to win. There are 12 mounds which the Lycos dog uncovers. The prize structure is identical to Treasure Trail.

The site is good because it is free. However having never won anything I wouldn’t recommend it too much. However, they do state that they have given away £1,000,000 so it has been worth some people's time.

On the downside it isn’t great fun to play and there is no skill involved so I often don’t visit every day. Check it out you may enjoy it and if you can get others to sign up you get £20 if they win so you can increase your odds slightly.
