Advantages: Cashback from online shopping and clicking
Disadvantages: Have to wait several weeks for money
Look after the pennies and the pounds take care of themselves - I was often told that as a child and something I remember and consequently decided to spend a few minutes most days just browsing in the internet earning some pennies.
My daughter being married to an accountant is even more canny and she referred me to various sites, encouraging me to join and jogging my memory to make sure I was clicking! Of course she makes some money when I reach the target, with Topcashback, that is £5, so she is better off to the tune of £2.50. Easy money isn't it!
There are so many sites and this is one of my favourites, they started in 2005 and charge no fee to join or for administration, you get the full 100%. If you are rich or want to be generous you can pass the money you earn to charities, and there are about 46 to choose from at the moment. There are more than 2000 offers. Norwich Union is offering £67 cashback for car insurance and Weight watchers £20. Marks and Spencers give you 5% and Boots 3.5%. Small amounts but it can all add up if you buy online.
How do you join?
If you know someone already a member they can refer you, as I can (if you are interested send me a message and I will be delighted to give you a link!) or you can go to the site and follow the easy to follow directions to "Join" you give your email address and a password, you must live in the UK and then click and I think later I had to add personal details.
THE WEB SITE
It is so easy to navigate, there is information about them and how they give back the full 100%, and you can in fact earn more depending on your loyalty in the previous month.
You can shop by searching for the product, or by searching for the retailer. If you click on "Retailer" then select the letter of a firm and you can then choose from the list. It shows what % you will earn on buying their products and some general information on the company. If you click on "Continue", the page opens up telling you the statistics to their tracking and payment speed, you can also add comments to how you found the shopping experience. Another click and you're on the site and can make your purchase. I find it user friendly and I'm an oldie!
Getting Started
There is a section called getting started, this has some general information and tells you what to do to start earning money. They suggest checking out the offers and to go to Recurring earners, and to recommend your friends. The more people who use the site, the better the offers they can negotiate.
My favourite Retailers
This section keeps the list of your favourites, so it is quicker to find them
My Clicked Retailers
This has a list of the companies you have clicked through to most often.
High paying Retailers
Which is quite obvious, eBay is in the list at 40% and you think WOW! But read the small print and you will discover that by going to Topcashback, and then to eBay and buying something you get 40% of the revenue eBay makes and not the final price. But it still mounts up, although not as high as I originally thought! You can save money when joining banks, buying car insurance and even £75 when buying SKY. Using Topcashback for your purchases will make you money.
No Purchase Offers
This is my favourite section. There are several places you can click to search for goods and earn 2p like Kelkoo, Searchchief, Cascade Compare, or 4p on High Street Web and even 5p on Car Source, Vans United and Win4now competitions. There are other clicks at different times, just one offs, like Lands End Direct you can 15p for signing up for a newsletter and other sites like Who Remembers me? You can easily earn 24p (as sometimes you can click twice), I don't often do the competitions because I don't like the form filling part! Alright 24 p for about 10 minutes doesn't sound great, but over a year it may mean you have an extra £80 in your bank account, but if you use this for shopping you will make a lot more money.
Recently Added
This is updated regularly with the new companies you can earn money from when buying goods.
Voucher Code and Deal search
Useful to find voucher codes to save you more money.
Charities
As mentioned above there are over 40 charities, support cancer research, animal charities, help the aged and children's charities, water aid and the Red Cross, a great selection of people you can help if you wish.
On the top bar you can read the Blog, which has details of competitions, names of winners and new things.
Account
This has details of your account and where you can change your password. You can see how much money you have earned and the name of the retailer, whether it is Pending, confirmed, payable or claimed and the final total of what you have earned.
You have to sign in at least once in 6 months to keep your account active. It can take some time for the money to come through, but they will chase things up if necessary.
Payment can be made by cheque, PayPal or BACS. You need a minimum of £25 for cheques and over 1p for PayPal or BACS. I used PayPal and it went through very quickly, considering it was New Year and no charge was made by PayPal although I have been charged sometimes before with payment from other people.
My thoughts
In just a few months I have made nearly £10 by just clicking, I have bought online but have used another website that I have used before. But now I know my money came through quickly I feel safer at using it for buying more things online. Who says you can't get something for nothing? Well I suppose it costs me time, and I would already be on the internet anyway, so what is ten minutes a day? Topcashback is the tops.
PS Don't forget if you want a referral!
*Will also be on Ciao where my user name is jo145.
Summary: Website that pays 100% cashback
