Google is not only a search engine and one of their free online resources is a translator. I normally pull up this page entering the word "google translator" into Google search engine. The service is free to use and according to my experience, relatively reliable, at least when used to translate into the most common languages. You have a white field where you will enter the text you wish to translate. You can also upload a document. However, one word of caution here, the service works better with relatively simple and not complex sentences. Google Translate is Google`s translator and is actually a pretty good translator. However like all other online translators you should believe everything it says and only use them to get the gist of something. Google Translate is like all other Google products free to use and well designed and this is what I like about Google. The site lets you either type in what you want to translate or translate a whole web page which is a very useful feature to have. This translator is much better than most but like all the others only knows individual words or phrases so it will come up with some horrible results. It only looks at the words and not the ... You try and find an online translator and it ends up something like this: 'this DVD fish stockings just one hour long and is was pain jelly'. Yes, online translators aren't the best, so how does Google stack up? Google translate is Google's free service for translating text or websites into a foreign language. I have to say that I was quite hopeful about this site, but it still has its limitations. The thing to remember is that these sites don't know grammatical rules. Instead, they treat language as an algorithm, a mathematical ... Read the complete review

I like learning and speaking new languages, believe it or not, I am fluent in 5-6 and get by in few more. In the last few years the online softwares for translation have improved a lot. It is now possible to translate pretty much any text into pretty much any language using free online resources. For business or personal communication, the results are actually quite good, as long as the other party is what we normally describe a "sympatetic listener" or, in this case "reader" There are a couple of programmes I use on a regular basis, and they are the Google Translate and the Yahoo Babel fish. Both of them ... Read the complete review

Google Translate is a great free online service allowing you to translate text to various major languages. The website itself is very simple and easy to use, simply copy in your text, select the input and output language and then you're good to go! The site has a very clean interface (much like Google's other sites) that is easy to navigate, meaning you can get your results quickly. To improve the speed of use Google has recently added an auto detect feature so you don't have to select the input language. This takes slightly longer to pull up results but means if you are unsure what language something is in you don't have to waste time deciphering ... Read the complete review
