I have booked with Travel Republic in the past and will continue to book with you in the future. However, when I made my booking on line, I didn't get the usual email conformation. After 24 hours I phoned travel Republic to be told that they were particularly busy and not to worry. After another day without conformation I phoned again to be told again not to worry. I finally got an email stating that the price quoted could not be honoured and the holiday would cost an extra Euro130 or Euro140 I can't remember the exact figure. I wasn't (and still am) unhappy with that way of doing business but went ahead with the booking anyway. It would have been far more satisfactory to email me immediately to let me know that there might be a problem with the price quoted, instead of leaving me in the dark and having to phone in order to find out what the true situation was.
Notwithstanding the aforementioned, The staff who dealt with me were very helpful and friendly and managed to sort me out without confrontation.
