Disadvantages: terrible customer relations
hi we got an e mail from travel republic only 3 days before we were to travel that there was an over booking on the hotels part and we would be moved to another hotel. this caused quite a bit of hassle for us as it gave us very little time to sort out another hotel and transport arrangements we had already paid for. we rang travel republic and all we got was " its not our fault theres nothing we can do for you". we tried to explain that we were givin no time to rearrange our holiday but got the same its not our fault statement. over the two days we talked to 3 employees over the phone and have to say that two of them were really lacking in customer relations, the third person was a little better and and least showed some smpyathy for our situation.overall we were very let down by travel republic and hopefully we wont be using them again to book a holiday.... lucky enough theres no shortage of companys to book a holiday with.
