Tv.cream.org – what’s it all about eh? According to the home page it’s the best web site to find the low down on those programmes that time has forgotten and cult classics, which should never have been taken off the air. One can also find other icons of popular culture - old TV adverts, foodstuffs or magazines. For anybody who can't remember the words to the Magpie theme tune, or who'd forgotten just how funky the opening sequence to Monkey was, this website is a must! It really is the best 70's and 80's nostalgic and retrospective look back at the Golden Age of TV, when Daleks were scary, and everybody ate Smash instant potato - Yes there is even a section devoted to classic ads, that you can download and see again. I think the best function however is the theme tunes section.
