Premium Review tvgohome.com: Radio Ha Ha  (355 words)
by - written on 03/01/02, changed on 03/01/02 (Very useful, 104 readings)
Rating:

I cannot remember exactly when or where I discovered this site but it was this past year, I think! This site is pure parodical and satirical humour, in the mould of theonion.com, a very infamous US site! Tvgohome.com is well designed and comes in a neat laid-out format, and very much 'borrows' from Radio Times. A little naughty, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Home is where the hearty laugh is (693 words)
by - written on 13/10/01, changed on 13/10/01 (Very useful, 47 readings)
Rating:

Television at the moment is dead in the water. Within a few years time we will all have to go through a rigorous audition process where we act like completely desperate wannabies in front of some Z-list celebrities just to get a job. Honestly if I see one more reality TV show I think I'll jump from a great height. What happened to all ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review tvgohome.com: wonderful (140 words)
by - written on 15/06/01, changed on 15/06/01 (Useful, 35 readings)
Rating:

wonderful wonderful wonderful. TVgohome is the funniest thing I have ever seen on the Net, and one of the funniest things I've encountered anywhere. Fortnightly spoof TV listings are its basic premise, although recently there has been a holiday ads special. And the content has been known to make me snort with laughter like a schoolboy ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Offensive, but very funny. (263 words)
by - written on 10/05/01, changed on 10/05/01 (Useful, 19 readings)
Rating:

TV Go Home features a spoof TV listings page once every two weeks. The listings are filled mainly with programmes that are similar to those on TV now, but taken to the next extreme. One example of this is a game where 9 blind people and one fully sighted person are locked in a house together "Big Brother" style and have to try ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review tvgohome.com: TV ridiculed (244 words)
by - written on 26/11/00, changed on 26/11/00 (Useful, 36 readings)
Rating:

This is an excellent site to have a laugh at all those programmes you hate, they are ridiculed, and you an have a good laugh at their expense. It's written by Charlie Brooker but he's gone to being anonymous, I think because he's offended to many people. It's excellent satire, making a good laugh of tv programmes. It can offend and oh ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The following website may offend the easily offended.  (297 words)

*Pardon my language in this review. The site is a lot cruder than this, however* This is one of the few rare times I have actually laughed out loud at a humor website. I was first introduced to www.tvgohome.com when it was featured in an issue of Loaded. Now I'm addicted, and I wish it would come out sooner than only every two ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review tvgohome.com: TV Genius (113 words)
by - written on 10/09/00, changed on 10/09/00 (Very useful, 13 readings)
Rating:

This website is a gem. Imagine a page ripped out of the Radio Times and scanned into a website. Sounds pretty dull? Well, imagine if the programmes listed on this page were the most bizarre, surreal, offensive and utterly hilarious things you've ever read. This is the simple but highly effective premise for tvgohome.com. Published ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Pink Pancakes (350 words)

Rating:

Originally hosted on the website of www.ntk.net, the excellent weekly satirical technology newsletter, TV Go Home must be rapidly replacing The Onion as the regular port of call for office jokers to pick up their material. It's even been referred to on BBC News Online, so its existence has obviously permeated the internet community. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review tvgohome.com: Not for the easily offended. (241 words)
by - written on 09/08/00, changed on 09/08/00 (Very useful, 17 readings)
Rating:

TVGoHome is one of those really rare humour sites, it's one that is genuinely funny. It relies a lot on what some might consider quite offensive humour with plenty of swearing and much abuse thrown at often deserving targets. This doesn't bother me in the slightest though, if anything it's a lot of what makes this site very funny. ...  Read the complete review
