This is one site I am really glad to have found out about. As you can probably tell it is a site I visit frequently. I have used Twigger for about five years. All was very satisfactory until recent months. I twice renewed my Annual subscription and still cannot access my account. I contacted Twigger on the address given on numerous occassions but had no reply. Finally I contacted my Credit card company to seek a refund of payment. There still has been no response from Twigger. I am very disappointed with the current situation.

Twigger website took two annual subscriptions from me last August and now February (5 Months later) will not allow to use the site unless I pay again. They will not reply to my e-mails. Is there any other contact address?

Picture the situation. Your home computer is on the blink, you have not been able to turn it on for weeks. Your trips to your web-based e-mail are taking longer and longer because you are no longer just downloading a handful of e-mails from your home address, but hundreds. And what do these hundreds comprise of? Well, to put it basically, junk. "How to earn lots of $$$s", "RE: Your e-mail", and "Top Search Engine Placement!". If you have been using e-mail for any significant amount of time you will be able to instantly recognise subject lines like the above examples, and will know to delete them without opening them (the same is ...  Read the complete review

Twigger scores high marks for its simplicy of use, and its sheer effectiveness. It doesn't over-complicate itself by including too many functions, but concentrates on its core task - letting you receive and send mail from your normal ISP's email account from any Internet connected machine, anywhere in the world. First, lets define our terms. POP (post office protocol) mail is what you use to receive email from a standard email account, the sort you would use Outlook Express, or Eudora to read. SMTP is the other side of POP mail, and is used to send mail from your usual email account. Twigger can cope with both POP mail you receive and SMTP mail you send ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review twigger.co.uk: Combine web-based email and POP email and you have Twigger (497 words)

Twigger really is one of the best services on the net, in my opinion. The quality of service it offers you, the very noticeable LACK of problems encountered while using it, and the immense convenience it offers the user all adds up to a site I highly recommend to anybody who uses a POP email account as their primary email address. So what exactly is Twigger, and why is it so good? Basically, it allows you to access your email from any computer with internet capabilities, no matter where you are in the world. For POP email accounts, email is stored on the provider's server until you log on and download it using a program like Outlook or Eudora. This means ...  Read the complete review
