Twitter is pointless. It's offers no real purpose but for celebrity's to try and overly advertise their new perfume or to have a look at what your friends are doing. Twitter is a social networking website that, in a nutshell, does a lot less than Facebook. It asks users to summarise what they want to say in 140 characters ("tweets"), which is usually a sentence of two. I'm sure I don't need to explain what twitter is, but just in case it's a social networking site in which you can post tweets of 140 characters or less. These tweets are a bit like a facebook status. You can follow other people's tweets and they can follow yours and almost every celebrity is on twitter updating you with their lives. I first joined around 2 years ago, but really didn't care much for it. I use facebook a lot and didn't see the point of twitter. Hi guys, I have been on here a while but have only just begun writing reviews so hopefully you'll be nice!
