Advantages: addicting, promotional tool

Disadvantages: simple look

Twitter is another social networking site in a very different and I guess much updated way. Ok, at first I don't get the sense of the site but because it is well "promoted" by Hollywood stars, I got the point of twittering. It's like a diary which you can write what you are doing, what's on your mind or anything that you will do. It can be updated every minute, that's why they say it can be addicting, and I also think this is one way of promoting and advertisement.

LOOK

Not as good looking site as myspace or facebook, it is a simple looking one that is very direct and easy to access. The majority of the page is for things that you want to write and it is also the page where you can see what are the people you are following is doing. At the right side of the page, the people who are following you are displayed, in this side also if you uploaded a picture, it will appear here.

Who are twittering at twitter?

Some people that I read have a "real" Hollywood twitter account are, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Ellen De Generes, Mc Hammer, and P. Diddy. Ashton is very much into twitter, it was reported that he is the king of this because he beaten the (I think not sure) CNN twitter account on numbers of people following them. About Ellen, the account is Ellen Degeneres show, I watched her show on youtube and she always mention about twitter and her account, Mc Hammer and P. Diddy guested in her show and they said they have an account on twitter and they enjoy doing their stuff there.

MY account

I have a twitter account because I am using it for some writing stuff, I can promote my article here. Yes, this is another good way of promoting your band, music, and anything that you want. I'm not into this right now I just visit my account once in a while. I have 29 followers and I follow 27 people, the recent one that I followed is Ellen Degeneres Show.
