An indirect rival to Facebook (Twitter.com)
Member Name: MattJames
Advantages: @replies, general ramblings, celebirty stalking (in a good way) Disadvantages: Addictive, overall it is pointless
Twitter is frankly a completely pointless exercise. You update your status with what you are doing or have recently done, and unless you have a large group of followers, it will seem like no one cares. This is Twitter's beauty however. Knowing that your thoughts are floating around out there, just waiting to be replied to, trying to be interesting enough to gain enough followers. It can be an addictive exercise. I even managed to get a tweet from Mike Skinner and Keisha Buchanan Summary: A good waste of time. |
