The latest collectable bears are ty bears. They can be bought from £4.00 upwards and come in beanies, babies and buddies.

A lot of countries have brought out their own bear. In England it is Britannia. As this bear is now discontinued and there is talk that at the end of the year there is going to be another bear specific to England this bear can only go up in value. So if you have one hold on to it.

On Saturday I saw Britannia in the shops for £55.00.

The Americans are very keen to get hold of ty bears. You cannot buy direct from the manufacturer so have to find a ty shop. Dont forget to look on the ty tag as this will give you not only the bears name, birthday but also the year it was made.
