Advantages: good when your lucky to get surveys

Disadvantages: dont get surveys often, complicated site

This site is very simular to Dooyoo, it allows you to submit reviews on products as well as fill out surveys. This is all very straight forward, you have the choice on whether to get surveys, and if you want to they get sent to you via email. Unfortuantly I have found that these dont get sent often enough. When I first signed up, I found there was no problem, surveys were coming once, maybe twice a week, but now I find i'm lucky to get one a month.

One advantage with Ciao is that you can get payment as soon as you have made a fiver in your account. They pay it directly in your bank account. They pay around a month after you have requested payment.

Writing reviews on Ciao is very simular to how you write one on dooyoo, you have to rate the product in a simular way to dooyoo. However the payment structure is far more complicated. Rather than Dooyoo, where you get the equivilent of 3p per read from every member. You get paid depending on how the product is rated, you are less likely to get as much money if the product has already got several reviews for example than if it has none at all. You can get a rough idea of what you'l get by looking at the pound signs by the product you wish to review, no pound sign is shown for non-remunerated products, one pound sign indicates 0.5p per rating, two pound signs 1p and three pound signs 2p. This is really complicated though, i tend to find im lucky to have gained 3 or 4 p per review I submit.

I also find that the site seems to have become plagued with adverts. When you go on the account screen to view whats in your account, it becomes hard to read as there are adverts that popup and get in the way.

This site is only worthwhile if your prepared to fill out surveys, otherwise you'l be lucky to make a fiver in your lifetime! I just hope that the surveys start coming more again.

Summary: Were it not for surveys this site would be a waste of time
