**** Introduction ****

Recently I signed up to Ciao.co.uk after reading many reviews here on dooyoo, so of which were good but many of them being bad. I thought that I could recycle my reviews over there and therefore make a bit of extra cash.

**** About Ciao ****

This site is similar to dooyoo, it is a consumer review site that will reward your reviews with small cash payments. These payments are credited to your account on a daily basis but trust me it will take a while to get a decent bit of cash to withdraw.

Signing up to ciao is simple to register you need a valid email address and a valid address to become a member. Once you have submitted your information you have to go to you email address and activate your account, it is as simple as that.

It works on the same principle as dooyoo, where members rely on the reads and rates from fellow members to ensure you get some rewards, if you don't get the read then you will not get the cash incentives.

**** Payments ****

You can request a payment once you reach 5.00 in you ciao account, which will take a while if you rely on reads alone. I feel that you have to read and rate far more than you receive to even collect a few pennies.

I feel that as I newish member you get ignored by fellow members, as a new member you stand out like a sore thumb with the white, green, purple, blue, red, orange, bronze and silver spots indicating how active you are.

I am currently on a green spot and I am lucky if I get 10 reads per review, which I feel it a little bit unfair as I rate far more than I receive and I always rate those who have rated mine. I feel that the community spirit is lacking over there and it is a site where you are either in the click of you are not.

If you actually find that you can submit your review, which is very rare as ciao does not seem to have the same review scope as dooyoo so you may not be able to use all of you reviews, ciao do state that you can request a subject but this is near on impossible to do.

Each review has a different payment bracket, if it does not have a pound sign you will not get paid for any reads, £ will get you 0.5p per read, ££ will get you 1.0p per read and £££ will get you 2.0p per read.

If you are fortunate enough to submit a first review you will be awarded double money for the first month.

You can boost up you payments with the ciao premium fund, this is a two thousand pounds budget that ciao distribute to the most outstanding reviews every months, so this can be lucrative but you do need high quality reviews that have bee rated exceptional by other members, this is where the click comes in to play so it is advise to try and make friends if the fellow members will permit, usually this is done by reading, rating and commenting on their reviews.

**** My Views ****

I do feel that ciao community are not as friendly as dooyoo and the whole site is very hard to navigate, even thought they have just redone it all.

It is nice to see some friendly people from this site, but some don't acknowledge you at all, which is unfair.

I feel that dooyoo is a much better site, you certainly get acknowledged here the feedback you constantly get is outstanding and I find the whole site very user friendly.

I have since stopped using ciao, as I see it why should I waste my time when the payments are very poor and the community spirit is lacking.

Summary: Not sure this is a place where I could get comfortable.
