Disadvantages: everything else

There are two review large British review sites often seen to be in competition with each other. They are, of course, Ciao and Dooyoo. Though seen as being in direct competition, you can actually use the same reviews on both sites. For instance, you can write one review, and use that on both sites.

I joined ciao a year back and never really felt comfortable with the site format, so gave up after about a week! I recently decided that as I could copy my dooyoo reviews over, I'd give it another go. I tried to research exactly what the payout tarrif was, and found it to be far more complex than dooyoo. I still don't fully understand what you get paid for! Something to do with if you get a rating in a specific category you get 1p or 2p??? VERY CONFUSED!

That confusion stands for the site overall if I'm honest. I found it more difficult than dooyoo to navigate, and it is certianly not a user friendly interface. I also found their catalogue of items to be smaller than Dooyoo's.

After returning for a couple of days to ciao I have decided it is a waste of my time. If I am going to review (which I enjoy) I can do it on dooyoo, earn a little money at the same time, and not get lost along the way! 6 of the reviews voted 'very helpful' on here I copied to my ciao account...earning me a grand total of 7 pence!

I shall not be returning.
