Urban75 is a good site, it's actually quite funny and entertaining; for a while that is. It's basically a web magazine for the UK, that tries to be a knowledgebase for youth culture (what a sad concept, but it's one that works almost), and be a sort of less satirical, and less hardcore, but quite funny and informative site like America's TheOnion.com. From what I can gather this is basically an internet protest site. beware, the tree hugging hippies of old have wised up. Long may it continue. I found most of the site, tasteful, and informative, with well reasoned articles on all manor of things. Even new "hot potatoes" like the human genone were handleed sensitively. There are details of protests coming up. It is definitely a left wing site, but not too in your face. That is until you come to the drugs info pages. At first I thought that it was good background infomation, so as to avoid the dangers of drug addiction. But I found them glamorising every thing (Herion apart, thankfully!), ... From what I can tell tell of urban75.com is that it is some sort of Rave Culture site. It speaks frankley about drugs. It tells you what the effect of the drug is, and how much it costs. It seems to take the view that drugs aren't dangerous and all the talk about them in the press is hype. It has information about demos that are going on around England. (That doesn't include the Fox hunting demo coming soon). The site is aimed at liberal people like myself. People like William Hague and Anne Widdecomb will hate this isite.
