Advantages: Attractive, informative and entertaining site

Disadvantages: Lacklustre newsletter service, no urge to return to read new-more of the same

Urban75 is a good site, it's actually quite funny and entertaining; for a while that is. It's basically a web magazine for the UK, that tries to be a knowledgebase for youth culture (what a sad concept, but it's one that works almost), and be a sort of less satirical, and less hardcore, but quite funny and informative site like America's TheOnion.com. I wouldn't be surprised if Chris Evans or a man like him was behind the invention of the site; it has vague hallmarks of his...And you know what just happened to TFI Friday?!
The site itself is very well designed, artistic and has an attitude. The best thing about the site is the simple java games of slapping and punching (i.e. slap a Spice Girl, punch Chris Evans...), and some of the articles (especially the ones about sex and drugs) are quite entertaining, informative and readable, and there's even a newsletter (the last one I got was months ago...); but all in all, once you've devoured all that you wanted to see in the sections, that's it, you won't really want to bother coming back as all you get is more of the same; more celebrities to slap and more articles in the same vein as the last. It's a good site to visit if you haven't been there before, as it's taking up some well earned space on the net. but eagerness to return to the site or bookmark it, will diminish within less than a fortnight. Good site, but it needs some more added oomph, and a regular more engaging newsletter to keep the existing visitors coming back.
