More Than Just A Joke Site (uselessjokes.com)

Uselessjokes.com is fortunately a site packed with more than just useless jokes. In fact a large number of the jokes are actually very funny, but better still, jokes aren't the sole focus of the site - there is much more.

Decorated in a tastefully gross purple and yellow, the site claims proudly that "If it ain't here, then it ain't funny" and when your brain gets around all that and you start nosing around then you'll probably come to agree with them. This site has hoardes of jokes which is its main focus. These can be accessed by navigating through the category heading on the right hand side oif the page, the jokes themselves appearing in the middle of the screen. There are loads of categories, and below these sub categories, so you can find a joke to suit every occasion, a couple of example categories being :

There are literally thousands of jokes under thousands of categories, far too many to list here. The site does havea rather American bias to it, not too surprisingly seeing as it is American(duh) but most of the jokes are pretty universal until you hit the entertainment section and get a bunch of jokes around unknown US soap stars and gameshow hosts...

Like I said, its not just jokes that this site deals with but there are also interesting news stories of the day here for you to look at, most of which seem to come from Ananova, a comic strip in the Dilbert vein(never did find that or this funny but each to their own), a daily riddle and a random 'quip' generator which gives you humourous quote from th
e rich and famous.

In all its a very good site and one which you might find youself wandering back to often. I like the riddles, and the weird news stories and the ability to be able to pick a random joke can be quite a good way to waste a few minutes too. Personally, I'd rather be told a joke than read one, so its not really top of my list of favourite sites, but its worth wandering by occasionally just for a quick giggle.
