V3 offers a free address redirection service and free email address. Users can choose from a range of easy to remember web addresses e.g. surf.to/yourname go.to/yoursite etc.

The service will provide you with an address and will give you the option of whether you want that address to simply link to your site or if you want the address to cloak your current sites address. This means that your current address might be members.myserviceprovider.com/myname but with the cloaking your address might be surf.to/myname, which is much easier to remember.

As well as this you are able to see how many people have visited the site for every day, although this has been unreliable lately (last week it told me I had over 3000 hits! needless to say I hadn't had that many hits). You are also provided with an email address which uses your choosen address e.g. your web address is surf.to/myname so your email is myname@surf.to

One annoying feature is the banners which are displayed every time you type in the address, however you are given a choice in the way in which the banner advert is displayed either a delay screen before your site is shown, a fixed banner at the bottom of the page or a banner in a seperate broswer window. The seperate window is the best becuase visitors can close the windows leaving a clear view of your site.

I use my address (surf.to/cashmonkey) to link to my Clickdough.com sign up page (see my clickdough review) this is very useful because the actual link is a lot bigger than this. I would recommend this service to anyone with a long address looking for a nice short easy to remember address.
