Advantages: Quick and easy payment, varied surveys.

Disadvantages: Surveys could be a bit more frequent.

Being a bit of an internet survey addict, I'm always looking for a new site that I can earn the odd Amazon voucher off of and stumbled across Valued Opinions about a year ago.

Registration is quick and easy and you will be asked to fill out some details about yourself and your lifestyle, which is pretty standard information from a survey site, then all you need to do is sit back, relax and wait on the survey links to be emailed to you, and believe me they do actually send out surveys a lot more regualarly than other survey sites. Some of the survey sites I'm a member of send me a survey maybe once or twice a year at most, but with Valued Opinions you can usually expect at least one a month.

In the survey emails they inform you the subject of the survey and tell you in pounds and pence what you can expect to to be paid. They are usually very fair in paying you for your time and opinions and you can usually expect to be paid at least £1, although often you get paid more than this.

When it comes to other survey sites often they offer you similar amounts for participation, but their surveys are extremely long and tedious, but Valued Opinions does seem to realise you're a human being, not some kind of robot that wants to keep clicking boxes all night and tends to offer surveys that are relatively short.

They don't tend to offer surveys that have lots of pictures or videos etc. to download, which is great for those of us who are still living in the dial-up dark ages (me included in there!). After all, there is nothing more annoying than doing the majority of a survey only to be hit with a video that you need to view that you just don't have time to download on dial-up. Thankfully, you don't get this with Valued Opinions very often.

Furthermore, the surveys do tend to be varied and are as interesting as you could really expect them to be. Again, this is an issue on which a lot of other survey sites fail to live up to Valued Opinions on. One other survey site I'm a member of keeps sending me surveys on kitchen towel and loo roll, and this does tend to get a bit annoying and boring after a while, but you can always expect something different from Valued Opinions.

They tend to send you a short survey of maybe around 10 quick questions every few months that is unpaid, but it is just for them to keep on top of your details and reduce the likelihood of you being invitited to participate in a survey that you're only going to be screened out of.

You can easily sign in to your account to check your details and see what rewards you've earned and what for. Recently they've also introduced a prize draw system that you automatically get entries into for participating in surveys (although you still also get paid for them). You can also update your details here.

You can exchange all those not-so-hard-earned points for various gift certificates which is a nice touch, and you only need to have earned a fiver in order to request your voucher. You can choose between such certificates as Amazon, Tesco, Boots, HMV, charity donations etc. There really is something for everyone and you're in no way limited.

I've always ordered Amazon vouchers from them, and it is another nice touch that you get them straight away. You simply sign into your account, click the button for claiming your voucher, choose an Amazon voucher and you'll be immediately given the code. Its quick and easy and you can be spending your voucher within a couple of minutes! However, if you order a Tesco voucher, for example, they will post it out to you.

As survey sites go, this is one of the best I've used, so check it out and earn yourself some vouchers!

Summary: Get paid for participation in surveys.

I find this site pays reasonably well and certainly the surveys are much more user friendly than some.
