Disadvantages: Waiting for invites
**** Introduction ****
After recently spotting the fluctuation of new dooyoo members, I started to wonder why it was happening all of a sudden. I found out while I was looking at money saving expert and I found that there was written piece on review and survey sites, it highly recommends certain site where you get paid and dooyoo was the top review site, but we can all relate to why this is.
Anyway while scanning the survey sites I came across valued opinions, so I instantly signed up to get in on the action.
**** Signing up ****
Signing up was very easy all you need is a valid email address and you can get going.
First log on to the site at www.valuedopinions.co.uk and sign up, once this process is complete you will need to confirm you registration by collecting the email sent to your email address.
Once this has been done you would have created your account and you are ready to go.
**** What is the site ****
Valued opinions is an online survey site that works by gaining consumers opinions, you can just login and take surveys valued opinions have to invite you to take part in the surveys, the invitations are sent to you via email so you will need to log in everyday to look out for the invites.
Usually you are invited to 2-3 paid surveys a week, which payout anything from £1- £5 per survey that can take up to 30 minutes to complete.
Getting the invites are very few and far between when you first start with the site, but as you complete surveys on your profile which tell them a little bit about you, you will gradually be invited to more surveys.
**** Payments ****
The payments are made in to form of vouchers and can be used in stores like Tesco, John Lewis, Top Shop, Top Man, Amazon, HMV ect. There are many retailers to chose from.
The best bit is that you can cash in when you have earned £10.00 so depending on the amounts you are paid per survey this can be done very easily.
**** My Views ****
So far I am very happy taking part in these surveys and if you do fill in the about you surveys on the profile be honest, because surveys are selected to suit you and if you have filled in a load of rubbish and a survey comes for you and you don't answer it in the same way as your profile the survey will end and you will have wasted your time and you wont get paid.
In only two weeks I have managed to collect the £10.00 needed to claim a voucher, I have opted for Tesco vouchers to help towards my shopping plus I will get club card points on top.
In my opinion the more you tell them about yourself the more surveys you will be invited to.
The last survey I took told me I would need to allow 20 minutes but it was completed honestly in just over 7 minutes, so it is not as time consuming as you would first think.
I highly recommend this to everyone as you can cash out at smaller amounts and the fact that they offer vouchers is much better as you can treat yourself.

- 18/05/09 There are so many review sites out there; if you sign up to a few you can earn quite a bit of pocket money...If only I wasn't too lazy!

- 18/05/09 I am a member of Valued Opinions and have earned £40 in just under a year. I don't receive 2-3 surveys a week though. Usually around 4-5 a month. :) |
