Disadvantages: Screen out, 28days to credit account
Being a Valued Opinion member for a few months now I think I have enough knowledge to share my thoughts and give you a bit of information about this site.
Valued Opinions is another one of those market research site which award you for giving you own opinion and supposedly influence future products. How much of that is true i do not know but its nice to think that we are contributing to the future! :-D
I think I had signed up to this (after Dooyoo) from the recommendation of Mr Martin 'MSE' Lewis. The website it pretty basic, nothing flashy. To join simply do the usual of giving your name, D.O.B, email and also make a password. When completed there is also question you answer to boost up your profile. This is so they can get as much information about you as possible so they can recommend you surveys according to your tastes.
Now you are signed up, filled up your profile and your ready to go, but where are all the surveys? Well they are not on the website. You will be sent an email stating that they have a survey for you. They will tell you how much you will receive and how long the survey will take. All you need to do is click on the link and your off. The amount you get varies from around 25p (lowest I believe) up to supposed heights of £50 on specialist surveys but no luck for me on that basis. The highest I have got is about £1.75. The time is takes to finish a survey also varies but on average i would say about 10 minutes. However like most of these places you will on some occasions get screened out and you will not get any money but you will get a entry to a monthly prize of £20 which again I have not won but I will!!! You are also given a chance to try and do another survey upon completing a few introduction questions and if you pass you'll have another survey. If you qualify for the survey and complete it you will be credited the amount in 28 days which seems a long time but cant really complain.
The redeem threshold is only £10 BUT you can only redeem them for vouchers. The vouchers are as follows:
Marks & Spencer
Waitrose Wine Direct
So far I have only got the chance to redeem for Amazon but it gave it to me instantly. As soon as I clicked redeem, BAM! Gift code was there. I am now a proud owner of the Friends box set! Good times!
Overall I really like this site and will probably be a member long into my elderly state, I am sent around 4-5 emails a week and I'd say out of the 5 emails I'd qualify for about 3 which isn't a bad percentage. The surveys are quite fun although sometimes can repeat itself but overall a very good website to help me reduce the amount of money I spend on DVD's and games. Thank you Valued Opinions.
Enjoy my fellow dooyooers!!
