Advantages: Engaging surveys. Good return for time.
I've been a member of Valued Opinions for about three months now, and I have nothing but good things to say about it.
In terms of how much money you can actually make from this, I'm quite happy. Currently, 3 months on from when I signed up, I have £50 worth of Amazon credit, and about £4 in my Valued Opinions account. From different sources which I've read, that's quite a good return.
I've read a lot of people really blasting Valued Opinions, for "not getting enough surveys" or having "surveys crashing all the time." From time to time, the surveys do seem to come pretty slow and on occaision I've been 5 minutes into a survey and it's redirected me back to the site.
What I've found is, if you fully complete your profile, then Valued Opinons can not only send you out more surveys, but surveys that are of relevance to you. And as far as surveys crashing goes, the site mainly acts as a hub for other companies to connect to. If your survey has ceased to work, it because the of the companies actually setting them, not Valued Opinions.
All-in-all, I'm more than happy with Valued Opinions. I say give it a go, you'll be racking-up those coins in no time!
4 month update:
£60 Amazon credit
£3 in Valued Opinions account
£4 pending (from KitKat product testing)
£50 pending (from 2 week online forum participation)
Summary: If you've got a few spare minutes, and like money, then go for it.
