Viovet sold me Frontline Combo for flea and tick control, and like a lot of users these days I found it no longer works on my dog. I entered into a long and fruitless email conversation with a representative of Viovet, during which I was given to understand that I was probably not applying it properly, I wasn't giving it enough time, he ( the representative) knew a lot about the subject and I didn't, and on and on. Ultimately the point was that they weren't going to reimbuse me for this expensive product wether it worked or not. We gave up, bought advantage and within 3 days had no more problem with fleas. Thankyou Viovet for your comittment to customer service. Absolutely Nil. Don't trust their site.
My dog is petrified of fireworks so after seeing the Plug-in Adaptil ad on tele I thought I'd give it a go but it's too late now. I've been waiting for 2 weeks for an order which they said would be here within 48 hours. I called them on October 30th and they said my order would be here by the end of the week(Friday the 2nd Nov). STILL NOT HERE¬!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Absolute scum! Never shop with them.
My first purchase from Viovet and I'm so impressed.Signed for delivery was only £1.20, on two large dog Flexi leads, which are fairly weighty - I ordered them Wednesday afternoon and they arrived Thursday morning.Brilliant, can't fault them.
i just found "viovet " on google today as i was pricing up the items i was wanting with various others sites . i chose viovet as the prices were best and delivary free . this has saved me so much time and stress as i dont drive and usualy need to catch a bus to collect both these products when i need them . plus i usualy wait over a week for the items to come in stock . i ordered yesterday afternoon and at 12.15 pm the items arrived FANTASTIC wot a A1 service all items were there and the driver man was smashing and acctualy had the time of day to chat and lift my heavy boxes without any hostility wot so ever. THANKYOU VIOVET MYSELF AND MY PUGS ARE NOW FULLT FLEDGE MEMBERS AND CANT WAIT FOR OUR NEXT ORDER
Noticed a little too late that my puppy was running out of food. I usually order from PetPlanet but they only do the largest size of the food my puppy eats. Thought I would try this new site out and I'm so glad I did. Ordered some yesterday at around midday and was amazed that it arrived this morning when the shipping cost was so little. The prices of the products are also excellent. I will be using it from now on. Regular emails also keep you updated on what is happening and for not much more you can get it tracked. I signed up to this site just so I could review it I am that pleased. The only downside is that I wish I had properly viewed the site before purchase so I could have ordered more stuff!
I have ordered quite a few products over the last couple of years from viovet and they seem really good to me. I felt I wanted to write after reading some of the other reviews on dooyoo. It seems like several people have had bad experiences, though several say that viovet are marvelous.
My personal experience has always been very good. Once I ordered some Hills dog food for my labs at about 5.30pm and requested "same day dispatch" as they call it. The food arrived at 8.30am the next morning! I was amazed. It cost me a bit extra to get it delivered so quickly (£2.99), but I had been a complete moron and ran out of food totally. Not that my dogs are phased by that, they would have been quite happy to have had beefburgers and chips with the kids, but somehow it feels wrong to give them human food. Funny that really. Not sure what I really feel about dog food from a sack, but the dogs always look the picture of health and my vet says it is ideal for them. Who am I to disagree?
Anyway I order prescription arthritis treatment for my old boy from Viovet and the service is incredibly efficient. Ben is on a drug called Rimadyl from my vet. He has it every day and it makes a clear difference for him. His hips still seem to creak a bit, but he gets up more easily, especially first thing in the morning, and even plays with the kids sometimes. I could buy the Rimadyl from the vet but that costs a fortune. I have to get a written prescription from my vet for the Rimadyl, then I scan it into my computer and email it to viovet. I have to pay the vet £5 for the piece of paper (vets - I ask you!) Then I order the tablets whenever I need them. I can place the order online and check the prescription every time to make sure I have enough allowed on it. Every 6 months I get a new prescription from the vet, but I order the Rimadyl once a month from Viovet. It normally takes a couple of days to arrive in the post. Loads cheaper than my vet, even after paying for the prescription. I just think that this service is so good and it works so well, other people should try them out.
One minor drawback with Viovet is that you cannot tell when you place an order if they have the stuff in stock or not. It sounds as if that has been a problem for some other users, though it has not been too bad for me. Once I ordered some rimadyl tablets and some dog food at the same time. They actually phoned me up and said that they had the Rimadyl in stock but not the food. (It was a special diet recommended by the vet for my wife's cat. He couldn't pee properly and was in an awful state for a while. Another vet bill and another story!) Anyway they sent the Rimadyl out straight away and the food arrived the following week. I still had some food from the vet so it was fine. Food much cheaper than the vet, and delivered to my door!
Every other time I have ordered anything, it has arrived within a day or two, well packaged and completely fine. Their prices seem very good too, though there are other online suppliers to try. Personally I would not dream of going anywhere else. They sell a huge range of different products and on the odd occasion I have spoken to them on the phone, they have been polite, efficient and very helpful. I order from quite a few different online companies and I find the whole concept awesome. I know it is a shame what is happening to local shops and the high street, but buying online is just so good these days. I can sit in my lounge in the evening, look at a load of products for sale, read reviews about them and any technical data, then order them to be delivered to my door. There are some rules called The Distance Selling Regulations, which mean that if you don't like something you have ordered online, you can send it back for a full refund. The process is fantastic and I try to buy everything online. (Got a great lawnmower last week, so might write about that next.) Anyway, I think ordering online is great and I recommend Viovet completely.
Recently made my first order with Viovet for dried dog food and choc drops. Found them fast and efficient. Everything nicely packaged. Good communication with regards to dispatch. Gave me confidence they are a professionally run outfit. For what I bought they were good on price with free delivery at a relatively low order price.
a group of people donated some money for a struggling rescue to buy some food. The money was taken and the order confirmed to be told later there was a supplier problem and then an additional £280 would be needed to complete the order.
All complaints by several people have been ignored and comments about it removed from their facebook page.
Money will take a week to refund - really not good enough and bad customer services not to realise that those who contributed to the food purchase will not let this rest.
As the money was taken for this order, we feel a contract has been agreed upon and that this company should just bite the bullet and provide the rescue with thier order at the agreed price. They should also be more careful in future when they publish their prices to ensure that are not seen to be misleading the public.
The vet recommended I get special food for my cat as she had been diagnosed with a kidney problem. I put in an order ( NF Renal Function Feline Formula and Hill's KD Feline Renal Health) on Monday evening and it was delivered on Wednesday morning; less than 36 hours from order to delivery. I will certainly be using this service again.
I can totally recommend Viovet. I have ordered items from them for the last two years and have never been let down in any way. Everything arrives well packed and within 24hrs as promised. The item prices are very good and the postage is very reasonable too.
I am disgusted with viovets! I put an order for 3 crate beds in on the 15th september (website did not say out of stock). They took payment of £107. I then waited for my beds to arrive, thinking they would be delivered in a couple of days at most (website states most items will be dispatched within 24 hours)! Nothing came and I heard nothing. I then rang them up and they were out of stock of the beds that I had purchased and they told me they had been waiting on a delivery, apparantly they were due this delivery the following day so my beds would be sent and I would recieve them in two days time. I waited again and still nothing came. I rang again to be told they were definately getting a delivery the following day and I was assured I would recieve them the following monday due to them not delivering over the weekend. It is now Monday the 27th of september. No beds have been delivered and low and behold they are still not in stock! Needless to say I cancelled the order! What a waste of space! Definately would not recommend them!
I have ordered 3 items from viovet and only 1 has been delivered. Have been in touch with viovet, they keep telling me they will call me back and still waiting. Not very happy.
For those of you who regularly read my reviews you will know how Merlin gets bullied by some farm cats who live close by. On a couple of occasions now he has come home roughed up after obviously being in a fight. This has led to the odd scratch and cut which have been pretty minor, luckily not requiring a vet. However, I decided I should get some antiseptic spray to treat these minor wounds and this is where viovet came in.
Viovet sell a range of food, pet store items (toys, leads etc) and prescription and non prescription medicines. The site itself is fairly simple but is well laid out so finding what you need is easy. You just click on what category you wish to look at and are given a list of various animals which when you choose leads you to another list of products. For example if you choose non prescription medicines and cats you get a list of different things you might need medicine for such as allergies, weight control etc. They seem to stock quite a vast majority of products. I find it best to search the site through the menus as their site search engine never seems to find all the products they stock.
On choosing the product you are met with a product description with information about price and postage. Delivery is free over £60.00. However, there is a charge for smaller orders of £1.00 for medicines and £3.95 for heavier orders, which is fairly reasonable. However, I cannot comment on how quick their delivery service is (I will share my experience with you shortly). After you have chosen what you want to order you need to register with the site, this is a simple process as there are not too many boxes to fill in. After you have paid if you have ordered a prescription medicine you need to post or fax the prescription to them.
My experience with viovet as I'm sure you've already guessed is not a good one. I ordered some antiseptic spray for Merlin on the 8th April, he had come home with another cut and with the website saying the spray is usually shipped in 24 hours I though great and quickly ordered even though with delivery the item I was ordering was slightly more expensive than other sites. Then I waited for the item to be delivered and nothing came, I waited a week for it to appear on my doorstep but still nothing!
I had a check on my account on the site; there was nothing to say there was a problem but at the same time they hadn't done anything with my order since about the 10th April and when I checked the product again on the site it still said 'usually shipped in 24 hours'. I figured that they were just being slow and decided to give them a bit more time so again I waited and then with other things going on I forgot about the order. On the 22nd April I realised that I still hadn't received anything and by this stage I was pretty annoyed. I sent them a message through their website enquiring where my order had actually got to.
This is the only real plus point for me about the website; the customer service team are very quick. Within an hour of my enquiry I got a response. They apologised that no one had got in touch with me regarding the order but the product I wanted was out of stock and they had no idea when it would be in stock again. I was given the option to cancel the order, which I took because by this stage I was very angry at how I had been kept in the dark about my order. The refund came through fairly quickly, which I was happy about.
In terms of the order, it is a case of these things happen (even though they should have contacted me in someway). However what annoys me about this site and means that I won't ever use it again is that while I had the product on order and since cancelling my order I have been checking as to whether they have changed the dispatch information, just to see if they have labelled it out of stock. They haven't. I think this is really bad customer service and will put people through the same annoying problems I went through. I know they are covering their backs saying 'usually shipped in 24 hours' but after being informed the product isn't in stock and they didn't even know when it would be they should change the dispatch information. This has severely lowered my opinion of the site.
If you want to check out the site then visit www.viovet.co.uk as they sell a lot of products at fairly competitive prices. However, from my experience I can't recommend the site and it gets one star from me for the good customer service.
I recently found myself in urgent need of some medicines for my little cat, Squeaky. Having researched exactly what lotions and potions I needed to purchase, I searched Google to find an online shop that sold the relevant items. I originally searched for Drontal and one of the sponsored links that appeared at the side of the page was for Viovet.co.uk
I have no idea what drew me to this link over the others but I'm glad I found them. Now, I have to admit, I was so desperate to get hold of a dewormer for my kitty cat that I would have ordered from anywhere and paid as much as I could afford. Fortunately, in my haste, I managed to click through to a reliable and competitively priced company.
Viovet.co.uk is an online vetinary retailer which sells medicines, diets and animal care products. It is set up in conjunction with a vetinary practice in Hertfordshire which means you are able to buy vetinary medicines and other related products, just as you would do from the vet.
The website is relatively easy to navigate. I used the search box at the top of the page to find the items I required but, after I'd placed my order, I browsed through the site in more detail and found it very simple and straightforward to find what I was looking for. The homepage has some information on the side which includes helpful guides such as 'Fleas! Where do they come from and how to get rid of them? At the top of the page you can browse through the various sections of items that Viovet offers.
I purchased 3 Drontal tablets for my cat and also a packet of 3 doses of Frontline. Having looked around the internet today, I'd say the prices were average and didn't differ dramatically from a any of the other websites I've looked at. Ordering was simple. Just select the quantity you need and add to your basket and there you can checkout using their secure connection. You can also order prescription medications from Viovet to save you time and money. They ask you to send a copy of the prescription from your vet and then you can buy prescription medicines for your pet online. Neither Drontal or Frontline require a prescription so I was able to process my order straight away.
Postage was very reasonable at £1 for medication only orders and £3.95 for heavy food orders. This is very cheap in my opinion and probably an area in which you will save money in comparison to other websites.
The delivery was very quick. I placed my order at 4pm on Saturday. On Sunday, I received an email providing me with the Royal Mail tracking code as the parcel was being sent by recorded delivery and the package arrived on Tuesday. I was very impressed with the speed, especially since I had ordered at the weekend.
The medications arrived safely packaged and in their original packaging, all ready to make my little kitty better. I am really impressed with the speed of delivery, the process and the low postage costs from Viovet.co.uk. I could probably search around to save a few pence here and there but I will order from Viovet in future as I can not fault the service I have received from them so far.
