Disadvantages: Not quite enough surveys to make it really worthwhile

Visitor friendly is a market research company that pays you to assess websites. You can earn various amounts of money for different assignments, but the usual fee is about £1.50 for a survey/assessment of a site. These surveys normally take around 15-minutes to complete. You can also refer friends, you are paid 25p every time one of your referrals completes a review. So if you referred 5 people and they all completed
4 reviews a month you would get £5.

You may be asked to compare one site with another, if you are then you are normally paid a fee for each site so if you were comparing three sites you would earn £4.50 for 45-60 minutes work.

To join visitor friendly you have to visit their website and apply. You will be asked to fill in personal details about yourself Age, job, salary etc. – You are also asked to fill in
A section on your likes, dislikes /hobbies etc.

If you are successful in your application then they will contact you by e-mail in a couple of days.

They will email you when they have a survey for you to complete.When they do - You go and log into their website and see what they want you to do. When you go to survey a site, you just can’t find out what site it is and go have a look, then give Visitor friendly your opinion.

When they ask you to take part in a review you have to access pages that contain a questionnaire. You can minimise this on your pc and then go to a site and answer the questions directly into the required fields. I actually print the questions out and fill them in as I browse and do the required tasks at the website. The questionaire has to be completed or you won't be paid, as you are only paid for completed surveys.

The type of question you are normally asked to answer is something like, how easy was the site to navigate rate from 1 to 5, how do you feel about the loading speed? Etc. Some of the questions on some surveys can go into more detail. You may be
asked to find specific information about a product at the site. Normally you are asked to check links to other pages, and pass comments on how well you found the site to work overall, you are also asked for comments on how you would improve it.

I’ve been a member since the beginning of September and so far I’ve earned £24. I haven’t taken part in all the surveys because there was a couple I didn’t qualify for, one was specific to people living in Lancashire for instance.

They pay you at the end of every month as long as you have £12 in your account .If you don’t have £12 they hold payment until you do. They pay you by cheque and payment was prompt.

One thing I will say- is this month (November) has been dead quiet. There have only been two reviews so far, or at least that’s all I’ve been asked to do, so I’m hoping that the situation will improve.

You won’t get rich doing this, but I personally find it quite enjoyable. They do pay, I’ll vouch for that, and if there were just a few more reviews to do every month it would be great.

Still I’ve averaged £8 a month without any referrals, which I think is pretty good compared to some of the other things on offer out there.

If you enjoy surfing and are pretty inquisitive by nature then this would probably be ideal for you. I’d recommend it to anyone who is interested.
