Would you ever have thought of using Nescafe Coffee as a clothes dye or Alberto Balsam hair conditioner to soften the skin on your feet overnight?Me neither!!

Use coca-cola to clean the rust off your car bumpers,or to clean the corrosion from car battery terminals.
They say it even removes grease spots from clothing,just pour the coca-cola over a load of greasy work clothes,add detergent and put through a wash cycle.

Colgate toothpaste can remove ink spots from clothing,just squeeze on the spot,scrub and rinse throughly.
I am going to try this tip out as my children often have pen on their clothing,after being at school.I will update this opinion if it really works.
Another useful tip for toothpaste is for removing tar off the soles of feet.
Sometimes my own children get tar on their feet from seaweed on the beach and it is a devil to get off,with just soap and water.

What about that tiny tube of chapstick,you only use to prevent drying out of your lips?
Lubricate nails and screws to make them go in easier.
Lubricate a zipper,shine leather shoes or rub it along your hairline before dying your hair,that way it prevents your skin from being dyed as well.

Now the following is what I would class as a wacky use.....painting your house with Carnation non-fat dry milk!!
To do this mix one and a half cups of milk with the same amount of water until is it the same consistency as paint.Blend in water based colour to make the desired hue.
Paint it on and leave to dry for twenty four hours before applying second coat.Second coat takes three to four days to completely dry.
This paint is supposed to be extremely durable.
To strip it off again apply ammonia and leave to dry fo
r four days,then apply bleach.

Apparently a man from Arizona onced shaved with peanut butter,but they recommend you avoid using the extra crunchy type.
It also removes bubblegum from hair,it can be used as bait on a mouse trap and to clean stuffed animals.

How about using oral b floss to cut a birthday cake,slice cheese or to truss poultry for cooking.

Reddi-wip can be used to improve marital relations giving a new meaning to the phrase "Dessert Topping"this sounds interesting although We would have to use our good old dream topping.
I am not saying if I am going to try this one,sounds a bit of a sticky affair to Me.!!!
Its also good to shave with and condition your hair.

Then real lemon juice is good for dabbing on your blackheads,getting rid of dandruff and training a Dog to stop barking,by squirting it into His mouth and saying "quiet".This sounds a bit cruel to Me.

Well thats just a selection as there are quite a few more tips to be read.
But a word of warning,this is an American site so American brands are quoted,some of which We dont have in the UK.
But I am sure We do have an equivalant item to theirs over here,which would work just as well.

In the "whats new section" theres a great idea (if it really works) for using
Hellmans Mayonnaise as an alternative head lice treatment.
Just saturate the hair with the mayonnaise,making sure you get right to the roots.
Wrap hair as tightly as possible first with a shower cap or handy wrap,then tightly wrap a towel around as well.
Leave on for at least an hour,shampoo hair thoroughly,then rinse with white vinegar,and its a great conditioner for your hair as well.
They say that no nits should survive this treatment if its done properly.
This one sounds ideal,especially as Lice shampoos cost a lot of money and you cant be sure that it isnt being absorbed through the skin.

y give this one a try if the need arises and if it works,I intend to tell my childrens school and update this opinion.People would be willing to try this as an alternative,especially as it would be cheap and safer to apply.

I enjoyed reading the tips the site had to offer but especially pleased to hear about Mayonnaise being good for killing headlice,as around My area,this problem is on going thing.
Obviously I havent had time to try out any of the tips suggested,but there are quite a few that I did find are going to be very useful.

The site itself was very fast loading and easy to browse,as I have said it is An American site,but on products I hadnt heard of common sense can help provide an alternative I am sure.
